So AEW Collision will be competing with WWE Smackdown Friday…..considering this is the last Smackdown that will air on Fox, it doesn’t look good for AEW
Doesn't AEW already have a Friday show? I thought Collision was Saturday night?

Swerve Strickland used the bonus from his new AEW contract to purchase his childhood home that was foreclosed on and taken from his mother. Swerve thanked his manager and best friend Prince Nana for helping him get the house back.

Thursday nights (Dynamite), normally.
Says the person who definitely does NOT watch AEW... :confused2:

Dynamite is on Wednesdays. Rampage is their Friday show that is usually recorded after Dynamite, but it will be live this week following Collision. They moved Collision to Friday this week because their All Out PPV is on Sunday and they wanted a day of rest in between.

I thought it was Thursdays, lol. And indeed, shows how much I watch, which is like 2 or 3 times a year.

Arn Anderson pays tribute to Sid Vicious.
Now, for those of you who don't know, Sid and Arn got into a real fight in a hotel in England (during their stint in WCW) where they stabbed each other multiple times with a pair of scissors.
Apparently they made amends with each other later on.

Damn, hadn't heard about their fight before. Stabbing each other with scissors? Holy sheet.

The best part of that whole thing is when late stage WCW was being booked by Vince Russo and doing all that worked shoot insider nonsense, Eric Bischoff was cutting a promo on Sid and dropped "Whats the matter Sid, forgot your scissors?" like it was supposed to be some killer line to pop the crowd. Only issue was nobody had any idea what the hell he was talking about because shockingly it turns out 99% of people don't spend all day reading dirt sheets, and nobody knew the story.

Bischoff just assumes they misheard him so he drops the line AGAIN. To absolute crickets a second time.

I think it has to do with the audience being primarily composed of (at the time) "newer" wrestling fans (post-nWo, post-Attitude era, post-Goldberg, etc.). Among long-time wrestling fans, the scissors story is famous.
