Is there a Saints fan alive today that isn’t aware of the Vicodin rumors and the connection to Joe Vitt and Mike Ornstein?

I thought it was kind of known around the league - as I’ve certainly heard fans of other teams crack jokes about it.

To try and connect Bountygate to that is absurd, in my opinion.

Now it’s possible that the NFL said “Payton, we are going to drop some bounty suspensions in advance of these concussion lawsuits and if you don’t play along and take your suspension, we’ll make the Vicodin stuff public!”

But I don’t think the two things are connected directly.
