Agree that he’ll be a Buc in short order. The Brady Connection will pull in another free agent.

His release isn't effective until 1600 Eastern. They announced that they planned to release him to see if there are any last minute trade suitors. So he can be traded for if a team really wants him before he hits FA and joins the Chiefs, Panthers (his home) or Bucs.

It’s both.

He’s been rehabbing a quad injury and wouldn’t take a restructured contract so the Pats let him go.

I believe he’s 31-ish. I don’t see the Saints making any major noise as far as the post-season, so I’d probably pass...
