If we were still in "All In!" mode then sure, why not. Trade for him or sign him to one of those funky Loomis deals and let's roll. But is this team one Stephon Gilmore away from competing for a Super Bowl? I don't think so.

Old, expensive, and injured. That's a dicey combination. A real contender with plenty of cap space can afford to take that risk because he probably has some good football left in him. The Saints need to admit their situation. There would be more dignity in it. Keep your picks and clean up the books with an eye towards the future.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Tom Brady talked Gilmore into making this happen. Gilmore knew he could force his way out of NE if he asked for more money. He’s going to sign elsewhere for much less than he asked to force his way out. He doesn’t want to be on a rebuild, especially for Belicheck.

We could have Deion Sanders and Rod Woodson out there but with no WRs, a banged up O Line, and disappearing pass rush, anyone could beat us.
