Turner is Dav 2.0 sadly.

Meanwhile Granderson is putting on a clinic in his contract year and will be a Trey Hendrickson 2.0 situation.
If the Saints let him walk (like they did T-Rex) so help us all.

So he's has had only 2 of the last 8 years where he didn't miss games
2016 (HS) missed nearly entire senior year due to knee injury
2017 no missed games
2018 missed last two games plus spring and summer due to broken foot
2019 no missed games
2020 missed last 3 games due to foot and knee injuries
2021 (NFL) appears in 5 games before season ending shoulder surgery
2022 missed 9 games due to elbow, calf, chest, and shoulder injuries
2023 leaves first game and needs toe surgery
I'm not debating his availability as a Saint. It has been frustrating.

I'm just pointing out this SR narrative that he missed so much time at Houston it should've been an obvious red flag to the scouting department or FO not to draft him is more fiction than fact.

A simple soft tissue capsule or ligament tear requires a non-weight bearing status for 3 to 4 weeks, partial weight bearing in a walking cast boot with support 4 to 6 weeks and full weight bearing with physical therapy 6 to 8 weeks.

not a season injury

given our recent injury issues.. we are still at minimal this year.. and still hoping for a more healthy season for our Saints.
Foskey needs the development time. Will hurt our run defense a bit but Kpas is a fine run defender on the edge as his snaps will increase.

With Bresee playing the way he is you can give those inside snaps in sub packages that Kpas was playing to him.

it’ll balance out. Feel for the kid but it’s a long season. He’ll come in handy late..hopefully

Bresee only two less snaps than Shepherd.

Starting soon??

I was at the game and DTs were rotating in and out a lot. Even if he's not starting on paper, you may as well consider him a starter because he was in for most passing downs. The 4 man rotation we have is really nice.

This is awful news.

This means Foskey is one step closer to seeing the field and I don't think he's ready. It also means Turner is one step closer to the departure lounge and I'm not sure Foskey is the long term answer.
This isn’t bad. He needs reps. He needs to bulk a little. I guarantee he will make ppl feel different. He’s slight right now. The more he plays, the more he will learn how to use his strengths. Three preseason games playing with mediocre lineman next to him isn’t going to be a good enough measurement to determine his value. If he gets 10 snaps next game, they should all be on passing situations.

How do the Saints always manage to reach in the draft for these kinds of outcomes?

Don't do that to yourself. He's out and then out and then out!

AS SOON AS I SAW HIM LIMP OFF THE FIELD, I KNEW HE WAS DONE FOR THE YEAR. HE JUST CAN'T STAY HEALTHY. TIME TO MOVE ON IN MY OPINION. CAM JORDAN HE IS NOT!!!
