Foskey needs the development time. Will hurt our run defense a bit but Kpas is a fine run defender on the edge as his snaps will increase.
With Bresee playing the way he is you can give those inside snaps in sub packages that Kpas was playing to him.
it’ll balance out. Feel for the kid but it’s a long season. He’ll come in handy late..hopefully
Its called being a contending team, you don't get top 10 picksHow do the Saints always manage to reach in the draft for these kinds of outcomes?
Well got damned said sir jesus ur a geniusIts called being a contending team, you don't get top 10 picks
Been screaming Carl’s praises forever now. This dude constantly puts in the work and produces when his number is called. How can we not mold him to be the guy is beyond me?!?!Granderson should be signed to an extension before the next practice. We can't lose him to FA like Hendrickson.
Davenport was somewhat of a "project."Gregory Rousseau was selected 2 picks after we took Turner. I’m not buying that statement.

Exactly what I was thinking. Granderson (in a short, one game sample) is looking like a Beast. They need to be working on resigning the guy now, before he balls out and we won't be able to afford him.
I'm struggling to see any positives of Turner being out for the guts of this season. He's light years ahead of Foskey right now. It may be good for Foskey's development to be involved, but for the team as a whole, this is a negative. Whether Foskey develops and how quickly are question marks whereas Turner was a bona fide contributor to a strong rotation. While it's too early to definitively evaluate Foskey, I'm comfortable in saying that barely holding your own against mediocre, back up LT's is not a recipe to success against starting LT's, certainly not in the timeframe of this next 10 games. This isn’t bad. He needs reps. He needs to bulk a little. I guarantee he will make ppl feel different. He’s slight right now. The more he plays, the more he will learn how to use his strengths. Three preseason games playing with mediocre lineman next to him isn’t going to be a good enough measurement to determine his value. If he gets 10 snaps next game, they should all be on passing situations.
I think the issue is that Turner wasn’t going to be able to stay on the field regardless, so better to develop someone else.I'm struggling to see any positives of Turner being out for the guts of this season. So yes, this is bad.
Well, I don't think that it was inevitable that he got injured again and if he did, that it was something requiring surgery, and in the first game. Possible certainly, probable perhaps, but absolutely certain, no - otherwise why wasn't he just cut a couple of weeks ago?I think the issue is that Turner wasn’t going to be able to stay on the field regardless, so better to develop someone else.
