Not upset about the pick and not surprised. We have to give him a chance. It was a position of need though.

I'm not talking about Cam. I'm talking about Turner. His two missed games were Covid related so it's not injury related.Cam didn't miss any games last year
Can you imagine the backlash if we had traded in the top 10 for him? Rumor has it we were trying and couldnt find a taker, for the mods sake I am glad we didn't
I love all these armchair GMs that come out of the woodwork for draft night each year
Turner looks like a Calias Campbell clone, very versatile player all over the line.
u can never have to many big men on the field and this man definite fits that area.
I agree with you and with that extra third and not ton of money for our rookie pool I would expect a trade up for CB/LB in the second we shall seeThe draft board looks great for CB/LB.
Plus, a more affordable avenue.
The Logistics in the 1st round was awful because of the SF trade. Then, another team having to give up a 3rd to move up two spots.
2nd and 3rd are gonna be way more affordable
Been watching him for last few years. You got to watch the tape. Reminds me of Cam Jordan. Why is my question?
Ohhhh, so you're saying trading up or down cant be done unilaterally... See i though Mickey could just call Roger around 1130 the night before draft and tell him where he wants to pick and that's how draft works. Who knew right...Lots of people are saying this so I am replying to you and all of them.
You have no idea the inner workings of teams, assuming you can just trade back isn't like assuming you can just head down the road to a 7/11... it's not about wanting to do it, it is about finding a deal that you can do it at. This front office as been pretty damn on point in the draft the last handful of years, why does that not generate some trust? I remember people clowning the Alvin Kamara pick using the exact same 'logic'. Sometimes you just get the guy you want and sometimes you can manipulate up and down the board to get him, sometimes you don't have the right deal available to make. Trust the guys who have built a damn good team in the draft when they make the picks, and judge them AFTER you have seen results. Anything said beforehand is just petty, and proof you care more about names you heard of than the entire organization who it is their job to get this right.
It's only round 1, there are 6 more rounds to go.So glad we're going into next year with our backup DE position filled when we don't have a CB2 or LB next to Demario
