Peyton Manning says teams fail young QBs when forcing them to change coaches, systems (3 Viewers)

I have very little hope for next season regardless of what coach we hire, who is on his staff, how well we draft, or who plays QB. Anything we do should be aimed at building for 2026 and beyond.

That said, Id be fine with starting Rattler next year and jist letting that play out. Who knows, maybe he shows out more with with a few pieces added and better health all around. True he didnt get a fair shake this season, but i think he has a mid-tier ceiling. A full offseason with all the starting reps and receivers that can get open and catch would help. Keeping KK would help too, but I imagine he'll be gone.

I agree with the thought but I don't think Rattler is worth building your organization around. If we do eventually draft the right guy (or maybe Rattler eventually shows that kind of promise), I do think Loomis is the type of GM to give that QB some continuity. Assuming the fans haven't run him out of town as well.
How on earth do you come to the conclusion that he didn’t show promise this year? His arm talent, poise and elevating ability is very evident.
