In most cases the Mods will update the thread title when something significant changes regarding the subject matter. It still would be best to use an existing thread to add breaking news [with that news added to the thread title] than to just have a bunch of folks start new 'breaking news' threads.

I texted him about it to see if he had any insider info. He sent back this:

"It's down to a handful of teams and look for a decision to be made sometime in the coming days or next week. I know for a fact that SP has reached out to OBJ personally. Kwon told me he has reached out as well. They're doing all they can on their end. Right now it's 50/50 that he might sign with us. But it's also 50/50 that he might sign somewhere else. So don't be shocked when you hear that OBJ has signed with the Saints or another team at some point."

He sent a follow up message about having a few cases of Rush Hour 2 DVDs and Lava soap that he needed to unload quickly. So that's where we are for what it's worth.
