anyone know why they would do this?

i was getting some video for work and saw this perfect circle of trees and shrubs in the middle of sugarcane fields on the westbank of St. John Parish...you can see it on the googles...it's about 1500' diameter

Designated wetlands and/or some endangered species hanging out in there?

(Just a wild, uninformed guess)

Yet on the googles that strip down the center is even more fertile than the surrounding area
