That's a myth. If a QB has a delicate psyche, he is not NFL material anyway. Historically, the god ones can start day 1 or at least season 1. If the good ones get murdered, they bounce back, the pretenders are exposed.

If a QB sits 2-3 years, he wasn't "developed", he was good all along, just not needed,

Coaches don't and can't change a QB's physical and mental talents. They're largely born with it. They can teach them the play book, defensive subtleties, and their receivers' abilities, but a smart QB can learn that in a week or 3. Average QBs may never really learn those things.

id bet if you threw Tom Brady as a starter on a terrible team day 1, he probably would not be the QB we know today.

It may have taken an extra season or so, but he would have eventually got there and made the entire team and coach better.
 
Haener is gonna be a real gamer whenever a coach finally puts him in. Best QB the Saints have drafted ever, or maybe since Archie. Both Carr and Winston have bad accuracy and no touch on the short passes and Haener definitely already has them both beat there, and he has a rocket arm and nice release, good pocket presence. What is not to like ? Those saying he isn't a NFL QB just have their blinders on hoping the Saints pick their guy.

So which NFL teams are you a scout for? Or which teams have you been QB coach for? Maybe it was college then, which teams ? Not college, for sure you have to have HS coaching experience to say that a player is not an NFL starter.. But at least you've done your homework and studied Haener throughout his career. What are his strengths and weaknesses?

He’s photogenic but he likes to take peds. How is that for strength/weakness?:ROFLMAO: Just kidding.
 
If they are not going to play him, what was the point of taking him? We could have 2 linemen with that pick.
