Robinson starts over Bailey whether people like it or not.

That's very possible yet the fact is that Rovinson gets picked on and torched quite a bit. He was playing against second steingers and getting spun like a top. Let's hope his improvement curve is short.

He was reminiscent of Keenan Lewis last preseason, how did that turn out? I think P-rob starts and Bailey spells him occasionally. I suspect we want to keep Bailey fresh for the playoffs.

I hope Prob can play better next Sunday because I really would like to see the younger talent shine. I believe it gives us a better chance in the long run and Champ could play in specific packages. With that being said, I still think Baileys technique and experience trumps Probs athletic ability at this point. We will find out here soon:)
One thing I can guarantee is that #2 cb is going to be tested regularly.

I believe P rob will be the #2, Champs AARP card may fall out if he runs to hard. I think tonight P rob was just erring on the side of caution, come game time he'll be ready corey#3 with Champ playing the mike McKenzie roll in some packages

Robinson gave up too many yards for my liking.

I think Bailey is #2 if healthy. Prob looks good in camp, but he didn't look good tonight. I would think that going against the same offense on a regular basis allows a defender to learn the offensive tendencies, which is why I think Prob looks good at camp. Watching Prob tonight brought back memories of the 2012 defense.
I do think Prob has so much potential and can be the #2 if he puts it all together.

This first game against Atlanta will be tough on all our db's!!!

It's the 4th preseason game most vets are mostly likely counting their snaps waiting to leave the game. We played all vanilla defense, trust me we won't look like this Sunday.

Champ Bailey is 36 years old. He doesn't have much left, we shouldn't exert him too muc. Even if he is better than PRob, why risk him? PRob didn't play his best game today, but he did all other preseason games. So we can't ignore that fact. And we can't ignore the fact that Champ is easily injured.

Why risk him?...I tell you why risk him

The clowns play us tough every time. If PRob gives up a late TD, and the Saints lose the game, it will be a heckuva setback. Champ wasn't signed with the Saints to ride the pine. If this last game was any indication, teams are mindful of the liability PRob is, and they will abuse him from day 1. A risk Sean Payton will not take. Last night, PRob got abused again. As the regular season approaches, so is the play of PRob starts to tank.

The only way Champ isn't starting is, if he can't go b/c of injury.

I would think I could definitely say after the 4th preseason game who would be the #2, but no. No one has really stepped up and taken the spot. It would have been nice if Champ could have gotten more reps. SJB and Dixon have played as well as PRob and White, IMO.

I remember Bailey looking pretty good in coverage overall. His man was covered on the few times he was thrown at and the reception he did give up was an underneath route that is tough to break up.
