The local Popeye's had 6 to 8 cars in the drive thru lanes I am assuming for the sandwich. There were not many cars in the parking lot. I drove past it twice about 30 minutes apart while buying groceries and then getting pizza.
I was not going to get in that line for something to eat. Can you get the sandwich without the pickles and sauce on it?
I mean you can but why?
I can see this will be like the In N Out fervor. I'll need to just sit tight for about 2 months for this to die down.
In N Out might have taken longer than that too. I dont remember. All I know is if i wanted an In N Out now, I could get one quick any time of day.If you had said that when it first started back in August, you still wouldn't have eaten one.

Neither does a decent chicken sandwich! Oh!
...where's Guido with my rimshot?

I can't argue with that. My point was that when it first opened here, it was similarly hyped up and had lines down the block all times of day. And then it faded. In N Out is literally the most overhyped chain ever. Even with very checked expectations I was greeted with soggy fries slopped in thousand island dressing and a mediocre hamburger with burnt onions. Just junk.
Yes, that's what we all meant.I meant waiting in line to get seated.
That's your fault for ordering animal fries and a well done burger. I have eaten there dozens of times and have never been given less than a great fast food burger. It's cheap and it's fresh. In N Out is literally the most overhyped chain ever. The chicken breast is juicy with a nice, light salty flavor to the meat. The breading is the typical craggy Popeyes breading. The spicy mayo should not be allowed to be called spicy. I added Louisiana hot sauce to mine.I might have missed it earlier in the thread. Is the flavor of the sandwich all in the sauce or is it still a good sandwich with no sauce?
