Potential Severe Weather tomorrow, 3-22-22 (Update: Tornadoes on ground in metro area) (2 Viewers)

power has went off three times here in Biloxi, but came back on a few minutes later. The dog is relaxed now and that's
a good sign

We had a tree top break off and fall on top of car. Pretty sure insurance will total it and with used car prices like they are I will probably not get near bout as good a car with the settlement.

Yeah, happened to me. Mine was totaled out, and I can't come close to matching the same car/miles/year. It's absurd. I mean, I got a little more than I expected, then when I started looking, I was like...they didn't give me nearly enough.

I'm just curious and allow any insurance expert to correct me if i'm wrong. Cars are usually only totaled if the frame
is damaged

Nope, if it costs more to repair it than it's Blue Book value, it's totaled. I'm still without my own car after a tree fell on mine and dented the roof so badly that it was totaled. Of course, the car was almost paid for. So, I'm waiting...and waiting...

Thanks, the wife and I drive 2014 Nissan sentras. We parked them away from any tree line tonight .

One supercell formed out in front in Alabama and it’s been on the ground for a while and really throwing debris. Some scans up around 15k feet. 1000 storms today. One supercell and it is longest and likely strongest tornado of the bunch.

That’s the difference between QLCS and supercell tornadoes.

All hell is breaking loose in MS and AL. Terrible nighttime storms for a lot of people.

It looked a lot worse on radar. Haven’t seen all the damage but so far it’s just been tree damage. Headed to Vancleave, Ms. reports that three mobile homes were damaged. Just got done SW of Mobile, small limbs down. Everyone still had power. McClain, Ms trees blocking road, power poles down.

Pretty sure the tornado this morning in Arkansas is going to more damaging than all the others combined.

Still could get a bad one but so far, bullet dodged.

Yes, it was about as bad looking on radar as it was in western Louisiana earlier in the day. When you have all of those little bumps and waves in the squall line and they each start popping a warning, the map gets crazy in a hurry.

Now, about next week.....what are we possibly looking at? Please tell me that models aren't trending toward ridiculous levels.

My wife works in vancleave so she’s headed that way this morning.
