It’s just the pure talent discrepancy…. I’ve seen Spencer do it in college and flash it in his 4 games. I’d like to see more if he had a half second more to throw and a healthy running game. I like Jake…. But just based on his talent and college vids…. I have him pegged as Carr-Lite. I want to see if we have a future starter, not a future backup.

Obviously, you didn't watch much of JH in college, he did more with much less than SR. SR has 1 thing over JH , arm strength. JH makes better decisions is more accurate and anticipates better

Language regarding injuries is in pretty much every contract these days. Carr's is no exception.

He’s not playing a kids game. He’s playing a professional sport against elite athletes and you are watching it and posting on a message board about it. So I’d say it’s safe to assume, it’s a pretty important endeavor for you.

If he’d have slid out of bounds he’d still been paid just the same. He gave extra for his teammates and all the ungrateful fans. He doesn’t get extra for that.

First I want to say Carr gave it his all on that play. I’m a fan who didn’t want the Saints to invest the money in Carr and thought they should have signed Baker, Darnold, or Mariota type to a one year prove it deal. The other option was keep Dalton or Wilson. Then draft a young QB and sit for a year and if your vet does good resign him and let the rookie keep developing. I want to see the Saints draft a first round QB in my lifetime. Most of the hate isn’t Carr it’s that we had that in Dalton who we could of had for cheaper and they could of used the money spent on Carr to upgrade at OL, DL, or safety.

That's the going rate for a mid tier starting QB in the NFL. besides, there's a whole lot more involved in a contract than the final dollar amount. How much per season, how much signing bonus, how much applies to the salary cap and when, etc, etc

The alleged source came from Underhill. He didn't name the source for obvious reasons. I don't think we'll get a clear answer until whenever the injury report, or maybe from the staff in the next day or two, idk.

He has also had terrible online play throughout his career. I grew up as a Raiders fan in the 70's and 80's. Started liking the Saints in the mid 80's. By the 90's they switched. Position's in my fandom. I have been all about the Saints and pull for the Raiders as long as their winning doesn't hurt the Saints chances of making the post season.

That's why you need to leave that dumpster fire thread.

I did after the stupid remarks I just closed the browser and watched the game. I am assuming most are drunk or high and it just makes the thread even more toxic as the game goes on. Nothing but whiners and cry babies in the thread, not all but I would say a good 80 percent.
