No, but seriously. Get it done. It's not bad, not even the prep. I wish there were more ways to get my wife to stop bothering me to do stuff for 24 hours besides my birthday, Father's day...and prepping for a colonoscopy.

It's reccommended every 5 years if you test clean. Every 3 years if the doctor removes a polyp. I'm on the every 3
years list since the doctor removed one on the first. I was clean on the second one two years ago.

Never understand why people are scared to get tested for very serious illnesses. Always better to know you’ve got a problem and then have time to get it sorted than find out too late.

Everyone should also check their poop regularly….red blood normally not a big deal…(piles, fissure etc) though it could be a sign of anal cancer or a number of serious but not life threatening bowel conditions.
What looks like Coffee grinds? More serious…go see an expert now!

Same with breast cancer…you got a small hard lump? Get yourself to the docs asap. In the Uk the survival rate for breast cancer is 85 per cent, those who die are almost always those who ignore it because they’re too scared to go.

Seriously…almost everyone who goes to the doc with a lump found early survives. Crazy not to go.

Good points. Cologuard is not bad at all. If you have changed a child’s diaper before this is actually much easier . Just follow the simple instructions then ship it. They provide everything for you even a UPS shipping label.

I don’t get that. Not doubting you, just don’t get it. I’ve had 4 colonoscopies (the old man died from colo-rectal cancer and you do NOT want to go that way) and that’s never been a problem If you do your prep early enough the day before.

The procedure itself is a piece of cake and the prep isn’t really that bad. Frankly, I like the feeling of being “cleaned out” and as was mentioned before, the deep sleep is GREAT!

Again, don’t put it off…you do NOT want to go that way.

I',m a night owl. It intrerrupts my sleep patern. That's all I'm saying. Get it done and talk to your doctor. I lost
