Saints Rams defense cannot play Saints like they did Dallas (2 Viewers)

I get that we didnt play Talib in week 9. But I think we match up well w/the on D. We may give up some plays on the the ground, but I think we can handle their running game. The one man who the Rams need the most is on IR. W/out Kupp, I think Goff will have a hard time vs us...Or at least that's what I think.

Josh Reynolds is averaging pretty much the same Yards/reception as Kupp (~14 yards/rec)

Jeffery had 150 against them with talib playing

Gallup had 119. I honestly don't get the concern with talib. Do people really think he will shut michael thomas down. I think michael thomas will still have over 100 yards and a td. Talib will be frustrated. I'm loving ginn against peters. Talib doesn't make their whole defense better. Ingram and kamara will own their lbs.

The biggest and only concern on their defense should be aaron donald, and even he can be made irrelevant.

Good points. I worry about Fowler a bit too though.

Rankins is a 3 tech, not a big run stuffer. Stallworth and Davison are more in that mold. IMO, we will miss Sheldon less against the run and more against the pass b/c he has been getting a good push in the middle and has really developed his spin move. The good thing is that Onyemata has really been coming on and Stallworth has been a great pick up b/c he's very stout in the middle.
Exactly my thoughts. Rankins is a good all around player but he’s special against the pass. He’s only like 305

This game has Kamara written all over it. I have a feeling Payton is going to want to get the ball out even quicker than usual with rams D line. I see Kamara eating them up on the option routes.

we are pretty positive no one CB can stop MT, but we KNOW no LB or safety is covering Kamara.

Who Dat!

Hold the Rams to zero points in the first quarter and we win because it's the Saints worst quarter at stopping teams from scoring.

How we rank compared to the Rams at stopping the other team from scoring per quarter:

1st quarter - Saints 32 / Rams 21
2nd quarter - Saints 8 / Rams 15
3rd quarter - Saints 10 / Rams 30
4th quarter - Saints 5 / Rams 7

Interesting 3rd Qtr stats!!!!

Jeffery had some catches on busted coverage by you know who.

Gallup mostly torched him as well. Talib didn't give up much.
On several plays Cowboy receivers were running wide open, against both Peters and Talib and Prescott either missed them or didn't make the read. Thomas will roast Talib as he did to Peters in November.
