Saints Rams defense cannot play Saints like they did Dallas (1 Viewer)

Yeah, that dome will be quiet when Brees is on the field. Stack the line and it's gonna be screens and outs all game long. He'll torch that defense if they stack the box against him.

So I wonder why from what I’m reading we are big time underdogs?
And I’m just filling time, make no mistake I’d rather we fly under the flight deck....and I don’t care in the end what any who don’t play say. It’s all immaterial, including my own opinions. Just passing time as I’m excited.

Perhaps, the reason we are underdogs is the loss of Sheldon Rankins. With Gurley hitting the middle, we will certainly miss Sheldon. Without a big run stuffer, things will be tough, but I still think we’ll come out on top.

Lol with Ginn back to take some load off, I’d LOVE them to stack that box.

You know who I think we need to really ‘show up’?
MD.

He was taken in to be checked for a concussion, but came back. And I don't think it was a "wave of the hand" check, I think he was legitimately looked at.

It took longer in there as the test administrators were wearing gold chains.

Once he ripped those off they knew he was fine.

Wouldn't it be sweet if Davenport had a multi-sack game that validated all the capital invested in him in the draft?

I personally love having him, but don't like mortgaging the future for it. Please prove me wrong on Sunday!!!!

He came back so he's fine.
Gotcha.
Thing is, Ginn will be our #2 and if they plan to take out MT with Talib (not gonna happen), Ginn will be wide open with 22 trailing.
I just hope Brees and Ginn can get on the same page this week.

We were missing Davenport and Ginn the first Rams game. Wonder why they don't mention that as a factor?

I like our chances. I feel better about this game than I did about the Eagles. Goff has no clue what he's about to face. If he thinks he knows what the atmosphere will be like in the Dome because of the first game, he's in for a rude awakening.

We're 3.5 point favorites. Where are we underdogs? Are you talking about media talking heads hyping up the Rams and therefore making us underdogs? If so, they just gushed over the Eagles for a solid week but when it came time for everyone on both CBS and Fox pregame shows to make their picks, only 2 or 3 out of like 10 picked the Eagles, one being Nate Burleson, who's been a Saints doubter and looked stupid all year long.

Yes, was just referring to media (and I don’t care it’s just a talking point) my friends....Rams message boards. I was not referring to the betting line.

And I believe a home team gets 3 for just being at home but that could be different now as I don’t mess with that stuff.

One thing though Hump, both Peters and Talib were getting roasted Saturday night and Prescott couldn't hit anyone. Looks like Talib still is being bothered by the injury some too. I have confidence we'll see our guys getting open often and feasting.

Plus, wasn't Talib in concussion protocol during the game? Can't remember if he came back in the game or not.

I swear if Nate was right all the time, the Saints would be like 2-14.
