I think the difference between Haener and Rattler is that Haener throws w/ anticipation and seems to have better post snap recognition. He plays like a guy who's been in the league for a year.
Rattler plays like a SITI QB, that's still a rookie. If the throw isn't clean he'll hesitate or hold the ball too long waiting for it to come open. I've said this a lot, he's not a Point Guard or spread the ball around QB, he's a guy who needs a #1 WR that he can lock onto, that wins 1 on 1's a lot and can make contested catches. He plays better w/ bigger WR's that have a large catch radius.
I was gonna say this same thing. Haener makes decisions and executes. Not always the correct decision or the best pass but he does make them. Rattler isn't at that point yet, don't know enough about his college game to say whether or not that will ever be part of his game but right now at least he needs more help than Olave plus a bunch of rookies and JAGs can provide.
