Rasheed, but he didn’t see too many targets today.
I was hoping we would run a few option routes with Olave in the backfield again, those two plays from week one probably generated more than half of our YAC so far this season.

I‘m OK with using Shaheed mostly downfield, particularly when Kamara is back. He probably should have swapped with MT on that failed third and eight, more speed to the outside.

I think some quick screens to him with some blockers who (maybe) clear space for him could break big too. Something that maybe could ease the pressure but it’s like they don’t even try some of this and when the QBs are holding the ball for that length of time with the speed rushers today we get the last 5 seasons with our QBs losing time. I’m as worried that JE will be do the same thing next week too.

Watching a lot of games this year. It seems to me that either OL play is struggling league wide or pass rushers are playing at a higher level than ever before.
Defenses finally catching up to the pass happy league the NFL has become

I agree in theory, just hasn’t worked out so far (through week two we had five WR screens for 18 yards). Quick throws of any kind should be beneficial.

Yeah definitely not just you.

Ram has been our worst lineman this year. Unfortunately we have 36 million in dead cap if we try to move on from him this offseason, so we’re kind of stuck with him. Hopefully we can navigate the salary cap without having to touch his deal in the offseason.
We may have to keep him, but do we have to play him? Who’s his backup? Young?
