Saints 1st pick 2024 (2 Viewers)

With their 1st pick in the 2024 NFL Draft the New Orleans Saints pick
JC Latham OT out of Alabama. Roll Tide.
This guy is a stud. I'm not sure he makes it all the way to us. Alt is probably the first tackle off the board but he is next.

I was looking up saints draft picks and it was showing we didn’t have our original 3-4 round picks. Is that true?

I think all 3 tops tackles don't get out of the top 10. It will be 3-4 QB's, 3 LT's and a couple of WR and maybe 1 edge. I think edge will slide in round 1 because of the need for QB's and Tackles.

I'm not sure he makes it either, just wishful thinking for conversation.

Did anyone not watch the college football playoffs?! I watched him because I wanted the saints to draft him. He was beating like a drum and the main reason they lost.

Whoever we draft, unless they are a defensive back, let's draft a player who needs minimal development. Please.

The Saints made a trade with the Bears to move up in the 2023 NFL draft.

The Saints sent their 2023 4th Round Pick (#115) and their 2023 5th Round Pick (#165) to the Bears in exchange for the Bears 2023 4th Round Pick (#103).

The Saints used the Bears 2023 4th Round Pick via Jax (#103) to pick OL Nick Saldiveri.

The Bears used the Saints 4th Round Pick (#115) to draft RB Roschon Johnson.

The Bears used the Saints 2023 5th Round Pick (#165) to draft DB Terel Smith.

Yep. The 3rd round pick went to Denver.
It was part of the SP trade. Denver received the rights to Head Coach Sean Payton.

The Saints received the Broncos 2023 1st Round Pick (#29) which they used to draft DT Bryan Bresee.

The Saints also swapped their 2024 3rd Round Pick (#81) for the Broncos 2024 2nd Round Pick (#45).

We should get a couple of compensatory picks so that will help a little.😁
This.

For the losses of Kaden Ellis, David Onyemata, and Marcus Davenport.

Saints Current Draft Picks As Per Saints News Network Article By John Hendrix On 01/07/24 On SI.COM

Saints Current 2024 Draft Picks

  • Round 1 (#14)
  • Round 2 (#45) (via Broncos)
  • Round 5 (#148)
  • Round 6 (#191)
  • Round 7 (#229) (via Broncos)
New Orleans could pick up another three picks via the league's compensatory process from free agents Kaden Elliss, David Onyemata and Marcus Davenport. Obviously, they could also gain extra from trading any of their players, but that remains to be seen. The NFL Draft is in Detroit this year and will happen April 25-27.
