Saints at 49ers Oct. 28th (2 Viewers)

I'm going....I live in Sacramento now so I can be in the $25 dollar land-fill, garbage of a parking lot at "The Stick" in about 1.5 hours. "Frisco" fans are pretty tame.....and BTW they love their city being called "Frisco" kinda like we looooove hearing idiots saying ..."I'm going to New OrlEEEns"

Well, you all know what I look like--I'll be sportin' my "Rowland" jersey as will my brother. We really should all plan on a tailgate meeting.

What time are you guys from southern cali leaving and what freeways? I never been up that way and kinda curious.

well.. from So cal.. can take the 5 up to the 580w (right when ya reach tracy,ca).. take that into the east bay. After that, Im not too sure which way to go.. maybe mapquest it?

Or..

take the 101 all the way up (from los angeles area).

As far as which is faster.. Im not too sure.. havent taken the 101 the whole way ina long time.. so maybe someone else can help out with that.. but the 5-580 way might take around 5 1/2 to 6 hours or so (depending on how fast ya drive) from Los Angeles. Normally takes mefrom 4 to 4 1/2 hours from LA to tracy.. then about an hour west or so to san fran.

Im in northern Ca now.. and should be in SF on Friday night.. friends of mine from LA comin up.. was gonna try and hit a Cal game on Sat but they are away that weekend. =(

Might try and drive back to catch the Fresno St vs Boise St game though.. hmm..

Sweet! completely overlooked this sub-forum.

Wife and I will be making the SanFran trip. Never been to Candlestick, 3Com Park, or whatever they call it these days. We'll be staying in Pacifica over the weekend.

We'll also be making a trip that way in mid July for the Laguna Seca MotoGP tour in Monterrey.

I really want to buy these tickets that I found in section 31 row 1. Its in the lower east stands right behind the saints bench on the 50.

How are the views from these seats? Are there any obstructions? How far away are you from the players?

I really want to jump on these tickets but I don't want to end up not liking them.

I am there also. My buddy is a San Fran fan, and he is still upset how we beat them. We havent got tickets yet, but we are looking. Keep us all informed

Okay, so I might not be getting those tickets. They are going to end up costing me close to a thousand dollars for two. I'm going to wait a little while before I get them now but I still might drop the money on them because I really want to be behind the Saints bench to get some autographs and yell at a few players.

If anyone finds some good deals in the lower east section post them on this thread.

By the way....Lower east is the visiters side.

Just got our plans finalized today. We fly in on thursday and will be partying it up through gameday. My wife really wants to see frisco, and the game falls on our anniversary so it works out really well for me. We are staying in the Marriot near fishermans wharf. Would love to get together with some fellow Saints fans and party it up in SF, hopefully we can coordinate a party spot or get together.

My best friend and I will be there with our friend with our Katrina relocated friend that now lives in S F.

Saints fans will drown out 9er cheers. Similar to Dallas last year.
