Saints at 49ers Oct. 28th (5 Viewers)

A few of us who get together to watch the games in L.A. are talking about making the trip up there- it'll be neat to be in the same stadium that hosted all those historic games I used to watch on TV as akid, even though I hear it's a dump. Of course, it'll be evn neater if we can beat the Whiners down to avenge all our losses there in the 80s and 90s......... Anyway, question for those of you who have tickets: Where did you get them (can you direct me to a good website) and how much did you wind up paying?? Thanks.

Where in the heck is Murrieta? Never heard of it.

It's that place right next to you that charges less property taxes and has better schools.

On another note, just got my two tickets. I'll be in Upper Box 49 row D. Got my tix for $90 each on StubHub. Think I got a good deal on those.

Awesome to see all of yall are going! It looks like 4 of us will be making the trip. I just need to finalize a few things, but it's lookin good! It'll be my first away game.

I am already set. Hoping to have a big tailgate like we had in Seattle a few years ago. By the way, there is no reason anyone should spend $1000 for a couple of seats. Those of you looking for tickets might want to consider going to onlineseats.com. It's like a stub-hub operation. I haven't used it, but I got a solid tip on it and was advised that it is legit, but if you have an AMEX card, use it to buy the tickets in case there is a problem. The tickets will ship to you anywhere. Also, the official site says individual game tixx will go on sale next month, but there aren't expected to be a lot of tickets.

Plane seats are booked, uncle is securing the game tix. I'm on my way. Who's handling tailgate plans?

So where is everyone staying? Downtown? Which hotels? I have my ticket but haven't booked the hotel yet.
I hear the team is staying out by the airport.

Which hotel the team is staying at? No. I don't know.
I emailed the people at the Saints travel agency (see zgalbert's thread in this folder) and asked them if the hotel in their travel package to SF was the team hotel. Their package includes a stay at a hotel at Fisherman's Wharf. They replied to me and said the team hotel is near the airport.

I suggest emailing them and asking them which hotel it is if you want to stay with the team. I just think it could be tough to get to the game from the airport if you don't have a rental.

Hope this helps.
