Which hotel the team is staying at? No. I don't know.
I emailed the people at the Saints travel agency (see zgalbert's thread in this folder) and asked them if the hotel in their travel package to SF was the team hotel. Their package includes a stay at a hotel at Fisherman's Wharf. They replied to me and said the team hotel is near the airport.

I suggest emailing them and asking them which hotel it is if you want to stay with the team. I just think it could be tough to get to the game from the airport if you don't have a rental.

That does help, thanks. Beacuse I don't know the area, would it be easy to get to the game if we stayed near downtown/Wharf instead?

Take a look at a map of the city. Candlestick/Monster Park/name of the week stadium is pretty much in BFE. There are things to consider. You are probably flying. Renting a car night not be the best choice. Parking at a hotel in SF is expensive. Check out the public transportation. They may have buses and trains taking fans there. You might even be able to find a bar that has a shuttle or something.
If I remember the layout of the city, downtown is closer to the stadium than the wharf. I have not booked yet either. I will probably stay in downtown someplace. Don't know where yet.

This should be a fun trip too.

Hi fellow saints fans. There are 5 of us going to San Francisco. We are staying at Tuscan Inn at the fishermans wharf. Got the room for $129 a night threw priceline.com, but they usually run $259. We are flying in fri. at 8:10 and staying through Wed. We would love to meet up with some other saints fans to party sat. and tailgate sun. If we can find someone that has the equipment for tailgating there we would love to send some cajun ingredients. We would do the cooking of course.

Just found out it is a 100% GO, I am so there!

Not only that, but I am sitting directly behind the goal post, Sect 38, Row 1 ..... yeah, Row 1. I'll be on TV for every Touchdown/FG on that end of the field.

AND, my wife now works for American Eagle, my round trip flight will cost me $27.00!

We are going to frisco leaving next saturday. We are staying downtown but have no idea where the stadium is or how far.I believe there is a train or something that goes directly to whatever the stadium is called now???????
