Can someone point me to something negative about Adams? Maybe a link to an article or something about him being a bad teammate, anything.

I haven't seen anything negative. Just more that his production this season has been pretty meh. I mean, in 8 games played, he's averaging 5.5 catches per game and a little over 50 yards per game and just 2 TDs. Those are some pretty terrible numbers for Adams. Not entirely his fault, but it's gotta make you wonder. He hasn't improved his numbers much since moving to the Jets. Can someone point me to something negative about Adams? Yeah and with those trades come big $$$ contracts and the loss of picks. Just like QBs if you don't have a top 6-8 guy you keep looking. But pick a great WR in the 1st and you got a great one on the cheap for 5 yrsA 1st or 2nd does not need to be used on a WR anyway. They are always available. Diggs, Adams, Cooper, Hopkins, Williams. Everyone is looking to trade WRs. Build the rest of the team first then WRs will be available for pennies on the dollar.
Yeah that would be great , but we kinda suck at drafting D linemen. I trust Ireland more to draft a WR in the 1st or 2nd than a DL. But there are a couple DL available in FA
We probably won't have a crack at McMillian, he's for sure a top 8 pick but Tre Harris is defiantly worth a mid 1st and a steal in the 2nd. Now if we could trade down and get Harris around 20 that would be perfect. Now sign Milton Williams or Levi Onwuzurike and we'd be goldenThey are usually looking to trade WRs because they signed them to big contracts that they regret giving the WR. I'm not sure there is value at WR in the 1st round of this draft, but that changes year to year. But there probably is good value at WR in the 2nd or 3rd this year.

Indeed.Depends on the situation. The bills are only paying 800k for Amari cooper.
He won't sign for the vet min but he won't cost big $$. He'll will but you know he won't get released THIS yr. But he will get released next yr because the Jets will not pay him the last 2 rs at 38 mil. NO and I mean NO team will claim him off waivers because they will have to pay him 38 mil in 25It's delusional to think he will be cheap, much less sign for the vet minimum which is under a million dollars.
First, it's only speculation at this point that the Jets may release Adams.
If they did, he may not clear waivers. Unlikely he would be claimed by a team out of the playoff race. More likely to be claimed by a team in the playoff race.
If not claimed off of waivers Adams would be free to sign with any team he chooses. Would likely sign with a playoff contender for the remainder of 2024.
Most believe if Adams were to be released by the Jets and become an unrestricted free agent, he would command upwards of $13 Million for 2025.
Not really, The HC situation will be done LONG before FA starts. The Jets and Rodgers situation is WAY different than the Saints, the Jets are in complete disarray. NO GM no HC, AR is on his last legs. DC is playing the best ball of his career. We , unlike the Jets have stable ownership that will do what it takes to win. We already have a great offensive staff if we hire a D HC or if Rizzi just flat out nails the last 6 games and he's the HC he's an inspirational guy that would just need a great DC. We sign Adams for 20 mil over 3 yrs last one being voidable and hit on a DT or Edge and a couple more picks in the draft and we are back in it in a weak NFCSThis is a rational post, especially the last paragraph. It's crazy that you got a facepalm and a clown reaction for a reasonable take.
A 32-year-old receiver in 2025 turning 33 during the 2025 season that will cost at least $13 Million for one season is not the best approach to build on with cap resources.
If Davante Adams is an unrestricted free agent in 2025, he most likely will sign with a team he believes is a SB contender and will use him in their system to get there.
Sarcasm offCool, he won't be cheap and we won't sign him.
There's not, it's just the chicken little cap space is God crowd that wants to blow it up and think that's what worksCan someone point me to something negative about Adams? Maybe a link to an article or something about him being a bad teammate, anything.
That's because the Browns ate the rest. He's a FA next yr. I'll bet the farm he does not play for 800k next yrDepends on the situation. The bills are only paying 800k for Amari cooper.

And he's caught 7 passes for 124 and 1 td with the Bills. He's not even close to setting the world on fire. If Adams would have come here he'sdbe our best WR and it would showOf course not. But they get him cheap this year. And have the inside track to signing him next year. Comp pick if they don’t.
