Saints exploring cornerback market, including C.J. Henderson (1 Viewer)

JD doesn’t report things that are false. At least not most of the time. But he tends to see things through a negative lens.
This exactly. And with the MT thing, despite any underlying kernel of truth - he started all this drama that we’re now feeling the fallout from. There’s a reason why he isn’t trusted by the organization or the fans.

I’m ready to move on from MT if we can get a decent return for him. A top 10 pick at CB from last year with 3 years left on his rookie deal would be nice. Like someone was saying if we can get Chark thrown in I’m definitely sold.

The connections are interesting. Urban and Michael Thomas. Marone drafted CJ and he’s a former teammate of CJGJ.

Could be wrong, but I don't think you are allowed to trade an injured player.

I hope you are kidding.
Not at all. I don’t see MT and the staff making up, and would rather have CJ than a 3rd or such pick. We wouldn’t get a first out of MT with how it’s all played out. I love the way he plays but don’t think he wants to be here anymore and think the situation is becoming untenable.

Would we be stuck with all of his dead cap, if traded? This is from over the cap…..

Loomis. That is the answer. If the Saints wanted to do it, it would get done.

I hope they can patch it up with Thomas, he is GREAT when he is on the filed, but he has very thin skin off the field. Saints need to buck up and reprimand or fire whoever was responsible on the staff who had the job of keeping tabs on Thomas and his surgery.

Reporters shouldn't report anything bad because some people don't want to hear it? I don't really get that.

MT started all of this, not Duncan. Blaming JD for something that MT did wrong is ridiculous. The truth is the truth whether it's good or bad. I'd rather not burry my head in the sand and pretend everything is rosy if it's not.

He wrote a book on the Saints, remember. That involved a fair amount of trust on behalf of Payton and the Saints. Bountygate ended a long time ago.

Agreed on all fronts. Just saw from SuperChuck’s post how much dead cap MT carries, but I agree that if anyone could find a way around it, it’s Loomis.
