With a strong scouting report, can Northern Iowa OT Trevor Penning follow in Spencer Brown's footsteps and go early in the 2022 NFL Draft?

On top of his athleticism, Penning has a massive, well-proportioned frame with elite length. His hands can be violent, and he’s a mean, nasty mauler who might be one of the most aggressive linemen in the 2022 NFL Draft. He still has a lot to clean up, but scouts will be enamored by the upside and the aggressive mentality with Penning. In fact, late in 2021, PFN Chief Draft Analyst Tony Pauline reported that some scouts already had Penning rated as the top tackle in the class.

He certainly has the upside to be a high-level starter — upside that makes him worthy of early-Round 1 consideration –, but it might take longer than people think for him to get to that point.

Very positive move. Not because he was bad but shows they are at least trying to rework and let Kubiak pick his own staff. I’ve been very critical of this front office and staff but this at least shows some semblance of going in the right direction.

I believe Dennison was Gary Kubiak’s OL coach in Houston when Arian Foster was one of the top backs in the league.

Edit- nope he was OL coach in Denver then OC in Houston under Gary when he succeeded Kyle Shanahan.
