Basically the contract is signed, but for formalities sake they won't announce it until after the Super Bowl just to avoid the "distraction". The reason we're all hearing about this is no secret is safe in the NFL.

We use widezone too. Haven’t been a pure gap team since 2018, Marrone was a meh hire from the start if we’re talking scheme fit.

I know we do which is why I thought we might switch to power gap when Marrone got hired. Oh well, he's gone now and hopefully the next guy can get the O-line straightened out.

Very true! I personally started out supporting & believing in DA, but that all died this season. The one good thing about him though, is that he does ID issues & makes moves to try & address those problems. The results may not have turned out exactly how they looked on paper, but i have to respect the effort to make those changes. I hope the moves he makes this offseason pan out this time cause i really, REALLY, wanna like DA again.

Man if this ends up being the right move with the pieces the team has on offense, restock The o-line in the draft, and the defense stays or gets better with a better more productive offense, we may be pleasantly surprised this coming season.

I hope they bring in Rick Dennison to replace Marrone. He was the OL coach/run game coordinator for the Vikings for 2019 (3rd) and 2020 (5th).
