Yep. Not “every day” type fans though. Fans in high places, fans with stake in the game, fans with investments in the team’s success and in position to lend investment/resources into the team.

I don't need to wait to remind you about a post that is factually incorrect to begin with. You clearly don't read or study anything about these contracts. The team has NOT paid $30m for Carr to play in 2025, none of his salary is guaranteed until March 15th. They owe him a $10m roster bonus that vested last March under a different head coach. That's it.

What remains of his cap hit is what he earned over the first two seasons that was shifted to bonuses.

I would consider myself an "every day" fan. I'm definitely not a fan in high places and definitely not contributing more money than to attend a few games a year and the occasional jersey/tshirt/hat. Not a season ticket holder. I am a drop of water in the ocean of Saints fans.

That said, a charity the company I work for is involved with, is also a charity that Mrs. Benson is involved with, and many months ago at a meeting, she was there and actually talked to me and asked me how I felt about the state of the team. I'm not saying anything I said was even on her mind at all in her decision making process to fire Allen, only that as a fan, she asked me for my opinion.

As I've said twice now, to me lying is intentionally deceiving. If you believe what you are saying isn't deceptive, then you aren't lying. I don't think Benson thought she was being deceiving, even though she knew she was spinning the truth.

I think in her mind, she was shaping public opinion, not deceiving. That's what most of the people believe when they are engaged in public relations spinning. There is always some truth to what they are saying, but they say that truth in a way that gets them the public opinion and reaction they desire. In this case, Benson wants the fans to think that she fired DA, because they wanted her to fire him.

So, no I don't think she was lying and I didn't say she was lying. I'm also not dancing around what I said. You just keep refusing to acknowledge the entirety of what I said. I have no idea it that's because you don't understand what I'm saying, or that you are intentionally misrepresenting the entirety of what I've said.

Now I'm starting to get it. You don't understand the difference between saying something that's factually incorrect and lying or being dishonest. To you, if anyone says something that has any factual inaccuracy in it at all, they are lying and being dishonest, especially when they disagree with you

When those same people are crawling up other peoples behinds telling them they are wrong about everything, you got that right. And if you're wrong just admit you're wrong so the everyone else doesn't run around repeating what you wrote.

I lost count of how many times he said, Uh. Pet peeve of mine when it’s uttered that many times. It was so annoying it was like someone inserted the uh just whenever they wanted because it didn’t sound natural how often it was used. I get that most people don’t have a gift for speaking. I know i don’t. I’d probably start farting or pass out

Case in point. Mickey had consistently said this is a talented roster that was ravaged by injuries. The complete opposite of what some people here have said to force the narrative of why we need a complete reset.



The belief in the talent on the roster has kept Loomis in a competitive mode. Notice Moore committed to saying they can compete for the NFC South title. He echo’d Loomis.



While reading an article on the Seahawks Mac McDonald said that each OC was asked about their plan for WR DK Metcalf and Kubiak’s vision was the most ideal.



I can almost guarantee, Kellen was asked about specific players and the vision and they lined up w/ Loomis (and the other decision makers) vision. Perhaps not 100% but enough that they can agree on key details. We know Ireland likes to build Oline/Dline etc.



What that means is that in their initial conversation, Carr came up, Rattler came up, and several other talking points like the cap were discussed and they saw a similar vision(or at least calmed concerns about each other) meaning that the questions he sidestepped, they have answers and a vision to despite not committing to anything verbally w/ the press.

I went back and watched Allen’s press conference and he waa calm, composed, and thoughtful. Ultimately his leadership was none of that, meanwhile Kellen was nervous, excitable and measure, but it doesn’t mean that’s how he’ll interact w/ the players behind the scenes.

I’ve learned how a coach speaks publicly means diddly squat for how he leads behind the scenes.

If people disagreeing with you bother's you this much, maybe take a break. Everything everyone posts here gets disagreed with by somebody. Why subject yourself to that if it bothers you as it does?

You're not just asking people to admit they made a factual error, you come out the gates accusing them of lying and being dishonest. You're wrong that they are lying or being dishonest just because they said something that was factually inaccurate.

It's not really nonsense. That quote is cut-off, and he was asked about it again later and the answer was more damning. There's a very good chance that Carr is not on this roster in 2025.
