I'm going to see the signed and notarized contract first. Is @StudioSaint now able to officially acknowledge that Kellen Moore is definitely the new Saints HC?
The process didn't go entirely smooth but I think that dominant Super Bowl win rose Moore's profile even higher. This coaching hire is an absolute win for Loomis.
No, people will continue to freak out about him not being hired after he is officially hired. Because that makes sense. Are people going to stop freaking out about him not being hired yet?
Carr can do it, just don’t know if he’s going to Superman dive during the attempt and get himself wiped outNow we need a Qb that can bail us out of 3rd and 8 with his legs on a regular basis. Bye, Carr.
and they call themselves Saints Fans....I'm confused.
I thought the Saints were a dumpster fire organization, Mickey is a terrible GM, Mrs. B. is a terrible owner who needs to sell the team, no QBs, no cap space, and no talent, and one of the worst places anyone could ever be condemned to. And the Saints happen to sign maybe the hottest OC on the market in 2025 to be HC? Them must have had to overpay, right? Like it's my money he's stealing?
Or maybe all that was just BS in the first place.
Yeah, well, where's the 2nd Lombardi? Are people going to stop freaking out about him not being hired yet?
A real double edged sword that patience is, but getting the Super Bowl winning OC here is a good get. That it didn't go the fall back options of Kafka, Weaver or Rizzi makes the wait worth it.
They'll start freaking out about not being able to assemble a staff because of the late hire.....No, people will continue to freak out about him not being hired after he is officially hired. Because that makes sense.
We already started freaking that we hired himAre people going to stop freaking out about him not being hired yet?
I couldn't agree more. No coach is a guaranteed winner, but Loomis and his team did their jobs on this one and it's only fair they get a pass for how things went early on.It was no doubt touch and go and it could have blown up in his face. But, in the end, to use the popular phrase, hiring the OC of the Super Bowl Champs who just ran through the playoffs calling great game after great game is great optics for this hire.
With all the talk of the bad optics with Brady pulling out, Glenn choosing N.E., Johnson not talking to us, he ends up hiring the guy with the most positive energy in Moore. It may not work out because optics don't mean sheet in the end, but he really won the P.R. game with this hire.
They actually ran the ball a ton... 25 carries for Barkley - 11 for Hurts - 6 for Gainwell - 3 for Pickett - That's 45 rush attempts (and realize some of those were clock killers in junk time).... But they only attempted 23 passes all game.... They ran a ton, and didn't give up on it.... They simply had the guys at WR and TE to adjust and go down the field at the right time, because KC was all in on stopping Barkley.
