Saint's interested in Pacman? (1 Viewer)

I'm All For Jacking The Cowbows. But Seriously, If Payton Wants A Veteran Corner He Needs To Pick Up The Phone And Call Atlanta. They've Got Some Baggage To Unload.

We all learn from our mistakes. However all I think he has learned is that a friend of his can't shoot somebody and he can still play in the NFL. If I was there and I was apart of that I think I would be scared as hell that I would never play football again. That didn't scare him and he continued to get in trouble. I think people know his reputation and they try to cause problems for him as well thinking that they may get famous or paid off his past mistakes.

All in all it's like my wise Grandpa used to say......."Zebra's don't change their spots."

Sometimes kids grow up without much guidance and then get a job that pays them a lot of money, and they don't handle having the money well. He's paid a big price and could come out of this more mature. Just let Brees or Duece be big brother mentors to him. Kid's got talent and I'd be surprised if any team gets him for less than a 2nd or some talent in return.

I understand and have empathy with such kids. But Jones has had his wakeup call. Even if he was in no way responsible for the incident that was the cataylist to his supension in Vegas, he has yet to express remorse for the guy who can't walk. He has yet to stop the nightlife or show any real change in his lifestyle. His problems and missteps since he was initially suspended have been well documented and discussed. I am not comparing my childhood to Jones', but I look at how well my wife was raised and compare it to how I was raised and see a huge difference in how we turned out as responsible adults. At this point, my behavioral patterns and vices are my own. I know they are wrong, I know a better way, I know my parents played a part in my developing of them, but since the time I became aware of their existance, genesis, and alternative, it is on my back wether I change and overcome them. For the most part, I am complacent and do not wish to put the effort in to change them. I like instant gratification, but I am man enough to admit this and not blame my parents or lack of upbringing as a result because every time I gratify myself in one way or another and avoid responsibility, I know I am doing it and still choose to do it becuase I am selfish. Forget the racial tension associated with this issue; it is more about Adam Jones being selfish and unwilling to make changes in his personal life. He compartmentalizes, and feels work and personal life are totally seperate and what he does on his own time shouldn't be subject to authorities connected with his work as long as he isn't in jail. For most jobs this is true, but definately not the NFL. By now Jones knows even this, and he is still getting into spiffs at strip clubs and bars.

Pacman isn't doing time for "MURDER" so you can't compare him to Rae Carruth. Pacman has been charged with nothing but misdemeanors so, comparing him to Rae Carruth is wrong.

yea...but didn't one of "his people" kill that night club bouncer in Vegas?

oh yes, thats right...I remember now.

He's not a peyton player. He's a thug

Pacman is NOT a thug.. he is a kind and generous player who has been targeted by evil oppressive men for no reason at all... his contributions to his community are well documented and he is of the highest character....I cant wait to sign him and purchase his jersey for everyone in my family..

if he is cheap why not take a chance. the kid goes to strip clubs, he has not fought any dogs or killed his pregnant girlfriend. we have senators that have done worst running this counry into recession. give him a chance he has served a one year suspension.
Actually, there's a guy who can't walk now because Pac Man wanted to "Make It Rain"

Why would anyone have interest in a guy that can't stay out of trouble. When was the last time he's played and entire season?

smokescreen for the draft... we're going after a big DT everyone will assume we are desparate for a CB instead though.... jmo

Car parker at the dome maybe, but on the team, no way. He is very talented but won't stop getting in trouble until a Judge finally puts a end to it. Sooner, rather than later, IMO..
