I would be good with Kellen Moore. If nothing else drafting players from his offenses put me in FF playoffs two years in a row.

I must say, our insistence in doing everything to make sure McCarthy is last is intriguing.

Seems so intentional at this stage…but why?

Maybe if Moore is the first choice you put McCarthy after him so you don't have to tell McCarthy you want to talk to Moore before you offer him the job? Or if Moore is your first choice you want him to know that you want him over McCarthy in order to entice him to take the job?

My biggest hesitation with Moore is that his Eagles O Line coach / Run game coordinator and Saquan Barkley aren't going to come with him. What we just saw was brilliant, but it wasn't creative. It was smash mouth football that we don't have the pieces to replicate. That said, he's a young offensive coach that has 5 years of OC experience with 3 teams including one that just scored 55 points to get to the Super Bowl. Not in 2011 like McCarthy, but in two weeks. I feel like that might be the best we can do this cycle.

My biggest hesitation with Moore is that his Eagles O Line coach / Run game coordinator and Saquan Barkley aren't going to come with him. What we just saw was brilliant, but it wasn't creative. It was smash mouth football that we don't have the pieces to replicate. That said, he's a young offensive coach that has 5 years of OC experience with 3 teams including one that just scored 55 points to get to the Super Bowl. Not in in 2011 like McCarthy, but in two weeks. I feel like that might be the best we can do this cycle.

What I think I find the most attractive about him (other than that he kind of looks like Payton and Frankie Muniz) is that he seems to adjust his offense to the talent he has. So hopefully he can spot the best playmakers in the draft and then build the offense around them.

I also like the fact that he seems to understand how to get the best out of mobile QBs and I hope that we can find one of those even if it's a project guy that you have to teach how to be a pocket passer. I also think he would be less tied to Carr than McCarthy.

I think the Boise St connection and Moore’s newfound running game success could very well lead to us getting Jeanty.

Wonder if we could pilfer Mekhi Benton? Maybe their Run Game Specialist/Assistant OL coach T.J. Paganetti would take a promotion to come here.

Looking at potential staff Moore could possibly bring over. Had no idea former Saint Doug Nussmeier was coaching in the NFL.

Maybe he takes a promotion to come here to be closer to his son?

But that didn't stop some people early in this thread from saying they questioned whether he could command the respect and lead a team...
I don't think that's a problem, at all. He can show them record breaking highlights of his play on YouTube, he had no problem leading a huddle and developing all styles of offensive systems--all while going straight from the field and into a play calling role in 1 season. Players will respect him.
