Saints interviewed Eagles OC Kellen Moore [ 2nd interview completed on Jan 27 in Philly] (5 Viewers)

Plenty of positives about his resume, I read that the reason Jerry went with Schottenheimer instead of him, was that Moore didn’t seem like an alpha-type that could command the team and Schottenheimer did. The article mentioned they were surprised by that (for some reason) because he had played and coached for the Cowboys.

That's code for Jerry didn't feel like he could control Moore so he smeered him.

Seems more likely Jerry would want a coach that would do whatever he said to do.

All I’m sure about is Kubiak won’t be back no matter who is chosen for HC.

It might be out best bet to make the team watchable while getting cap cleared and waiting for a new QB to appear.

Agree. At a minimal, we could use the marketing/fan excitement jolt, and I think we are talking about a player that could essentially be your team’s identity for awhile.

So Jeanty round 1, Milroe round 2?

Yeah, I'm not a big Milroe fan, but he's big, strong, sturdy, durable, fast and he's got an arm.

I'd let Juwan finish his conversion back to WR and use him as a Big X. We have Means who was showing a little before he got injured, but he has potential to be a physical WR. We have AK and KM to work in as well. Fill out the O-line with maulers like Philly had done. We have 2 in place already. I think there's a big 6'8" 350lbs monster coming out of NC St, he could be our Becton. There is so much we can do with the offense flexible Kellen Moore as OC.

Becton himself is a free agent, so we may want to look into that.

Kellen Moore is more of a leader than Mike McCarthy. I’ll take that opinion all the way to my grave. Anything that goes wrong with the offense he says it’s HiS fault. No stuttering about execution or backhanded BS I have to coach these guys to do what they are supposed to. It’s his fault end of story. McCarthy points his finger every which way he can when things get tough. He’s scared to be accountable. Moore is the definition of accountability. The players will LOVE HIM. Give him weapons and look what he does. He’s elite with great players. He had third/ fourth round Dak Prescott playing out of his mind as a rookie.
