I guess it doesn't look terrible. Its just that the gold helmets with this uni look more prestigious and complimentary to the uni IMO

I like it, too. The change needed to happen. To me, it was long overdue. However, I wish there was a stripe down the middle of the helmet. Instead of the FDLs and a gold face mask. But I'll take what I can get. I wanted them to sport a black helmet for a while now & finally, here we are.

They're okay, but I prefer our current gold helmets.

Keep in mind that they're not replacing the gold helmets. Everyone loves the gold helmet. Like the color rush jersey it's just an alternative for a game or so a season. The gold helmets aren't going anywhere.

It's just an alternate. Some of the reactions I'm seing are acting like we're going to it full time. It's just something different, and I think it looks cool. I think the photoshopped one with AK in the white jerseys looks sick. That'd be an awesome combo for when we wear white jerseys/black pants.

Something to also consider with the color rush combo - while our gold helmet is amazing, the gold didn't match the rest of that particular uniform combo.

I'm in the company that prefers the black helmet go with the all black set. The reason why our 'color rush' set is so popular is because of the amount of gold that pops out against the white. The black in that set is minimal and just enough to pronounce what it's intended to. Pairing the black helmet with the color rush and (supposedly) all black socks just kills that aesthetic that made that set so popular amongst NFL fans, not just our own.

I would hope that we make the color rush our permanent away set and utilize the black helmet strictly with it's own new alternate uniform. HOME: Gold Helmet, Black Jersey, Gold Pants. AWAY: Gold Helmet, White Jersey (CR), White Pants (CR). ALTERNATE: Black Helmet, Black Jersey, Black Pants.
