Saints to interview Aaron Glenn on Jan. 10th [Nick Underhill: Glenn probably gets an in person 2nd interview in a couple of weeks] (158 Viewers)

Surprised some would be down on Glenn. Dude was both a player and assistant coach for this franchise. Any HC coming here is gonna have a tough row to hoe so might as well get someone with some Saints linage.

I want a coach who wants to work w/ Rattler. QB is most important role in team and for Saints fans in general it’s the one exciting spot on the roster because if the unknown.

Loomis would be wise to lean into that as he repairs his PR w/ the city. If Rattler is nothing else he’ll be Aaron Brooks.

I agree with this, but I also really think Aaron Glenn would connect with New Orleans. The start of that press conference talking about the Bourbon Street attack and how the people here don't deserve that and are grinders tells me that he gets it and he would love the city and feel the love back.

But, I think the key to success for Glenn is going to be finding the right OC and QB Coach. He's got the leadership skills and he knows defense. But he'll need a good plan for the offense.

I don’t get the excitement behind Glenn at all.
Do you not see the fire he has? Do you not see the accountability he would bring? Did you not watch the masterfull game plan he had on D against Minn? His defense has been decimated by injuries and yet they still dominated . What are you looking for in a HC?

If you are seeking to retain Kubiak and have a player's coach, then Glenn seems like a good choice. It could keep Carr/Rattler with the same OC instead of another 1 and done.
That's starting to be an attractive scenario to me. It would not put us on a longer road for a reload. I think for what he had to work with KK did very well. And the staff he assembled is very good. They did wonders with Penning and made the most of what they had to work with

For those that complain about his 2nd half adjustments go watch the Wash game. Yes some of it was Rattler but the plays called were very good that throw back to AK for the TD and running with Miller when Wash was expecting pass

Plus our OL is better suited for wide zone scheme so is AK and Miller. Also it's a great system for Carr
