After months of being on the drawing board nearly every political cartoonist in the nation, Senator Clinton only appears in a few this week.

The Supreme Court ruling that the 2nd Amendment does mean we have the individual right to bear arms drew a chuckle at Cheney's expense.

LOL! Yes, that's perfect, Doobsdemons! It does what a good editorial cartoon does - combines two issues into a single issue with a twist, like the guy sticking up a gas station with a salmonella tomato that we had a few weeks ago! :hihi:

... meanwhile over at SR.com, mods and admins continue to work 'round the clock searching for clues that may explain the increase in boneheaded posts on the SSF board. They have remained diligent in their two-year quest to restore quality posting to the site, taking only short breaks with fellow posters to peruse through the latest avatars.

Zero percent financing for 5 YEARS! $5,000 cash back if you currently own a Chevy! Somebody, anybody, please buy an American made car! Yep, the Big Three are taking it on the chin this summer.

Retired General Wesley Clark's swipe at Sen. McCain drew sharp criticism and a quick rebuke from Senator Obama, who wants nothing to do with anybody stupid enough to try to smear a POW's time at the hands of the North Vietnamese.

Nate Beeler, The Washington Examiner, Washington, D.C.

This week, there's a lot less of the presidential candidates and a lot more of George Bush in the cartoonists' crosshairs.
