My concern with Rattler is what is hapenning to him in the second half of games. That first half against the Bucs was awesome. Then he fizzled in the second half. Figure that part out and I am all in.

Some fans think starting him would give us the inside track on the #1 pick in the ‘26 draft. They are probably right. He’s had less of an impact than Tommy Devito so far.

sorry, our wr group was a joke this year and olave and shaheed didn't even combine for a full season on the field. carr has been banged up here and there. we aren't getting a full carr look with legitimacy on the field.

Once again, he's been in the league for a decade. There isn't anything that Carr is going to do over the next 4 years that he hasn't done in the last 10. There isn't a sudden epiphany that Carr is going to have at 35 years old and at this point in his career.

And I don't say that thinking that he's a terrible QB. He's not. He's just very limited and his limitations aren't a great pair with the other players that we currently have.

Todd Bowles took his first read away via making 2nd half adjustments and he fell apart. He's not ready for read, read, read, read, throw, not yet.

Starting Rattler gives us the best chance to have the first pick in next years draft. But it could also mean one and done for a new head coach, so it would be hard to imagine a new coach hitching his career to Rattler.

Ok so here is my take.
!. Carr is not our answer.
2. we have one more year with him. use that to build the team.
3 . Rattler isn't the answer either. he throws high to often and behind the receivers to often.
4. Rattler knows all the right words to say but look at him after a play that flops. he doesn't hold himself accountable you can see on his face he is more upset at his fellow players. it really bothers me when i see this.
5. rattlers college carrier is not good why should we believe his pro carrier would be.

Depends on your desires and expecatations.

Carr if you want to win about 50% of your games, be a pretender and not get a high draft position in 2026.

Rattler if you don't care if you win and just want to get him experience.

I'll take that.

He's never even won his own division, didn't play in the Raiders first playoff game and lost the other one in the wildcard round. He's played one more playoff game than Jameis.

So you can have that. I'm hoping for something better.

The ability to get rid of Carr isn’t there. He stays and starts. But I would hope that Rattler is a strong number 2 who is actively developed. He’s still a one read QB. But, most of the time there was never another guy open, so with improved WR talent I’d say give him the opportunity to grow
