Should Saints pursue WR Tee Higgins? (1 Viewer)

I think Tee is a top 10 WR in talent, but way too injury prone and way too expensive.

I think he is almost as good as chase and prime CGM.

Bengals are going to let him test FA to focus on extending Chase. Should the Saints go after him? He is a solid WR that shouldn't break the bank and that is a need we could accomplish in the offseason. Would you rather a different WR in the draft and why?
38 catches 489 yards 4 TD--probably want 25 Million+ per year---luxury we cant afford at the moment. Draft better

Tee Higgins Injury History.
1. He gets injured a lot.
2. He's tough as nails and plays through injuries so he doesn't miss a lot of games.

Up until this yr he's missed a total of 9 games in 4 yrs, Hardly a lot of games for a WR

Did you miss that part where I said he's tough as nails, plays through injuries and doesn't miss a lot of games?

There's no denying that he gets injured a lot, he does. I provided a pic that shows all of his injuries and it's atleast 1 per season.

We have Tee Higgins types already in Olave and Shaheed, we need some guys 210lbs+ who can be physical, we have our speed guys already.
Tee Higgins is not in the model of Olave and shaheed he’s a fairly big 6’4 and 219 pound receiver. He can run very fast but also make the contested catch which is something we need. Hes more physical than Olave and shaheed. They are not in the same mold

Sorry I misread thought you said he MISSED a lot of games

I'd like to see us get Tre Harris from Ole Miss in the 2nd or maybe 3rd

Not sure how you can say he is always injured. He's been mostly healthy minus a few games this and last year and his 2nd year (2 games) and he still produced solid numbers.

This year he's missed 5 games and played 6. That's more then missing "a few". Damn near half the games. Last year he also missed 5 games. That's nearly 1/3rd of a season. Again, much more then "a few".

I just hope the Saints don't overpay for MVS. And on a side note. I wish the Saints would use Tipton the same way the Dolphins use Waddle. The quick 3, 5, 7-yard routes. Slants. Curls. Get the ball in his hands. Move the chains. He's not Waddle fast but he is quick and catches the ball well.

After watching the highlights today, I am still hoping the Saints will go after Higgins after this season. Our WRs are not producing and we are not going to be able to fill all the spots needed this draft. Maybe we get 1 solid WR in the draft, but I think with Shaheed (Will his speed be back coming from injury?) and Olave (Concussions after concussion is concerning considering his longevity), we still need that 4th WR that could be a WR1 or WR2 in our depth.

If we don't go after him or he signs elsewhere, I'll accept it, but I believe the Saints should at least make an effort since it is one of our needs.

No, one player isn’t going to make the difference. They should bring back MVS and work on developing Bub Means. Both are bigger targets and MVS will come far cheaper.

This team has enough high paid injured players on it
