6'4 219lbs to be exact. I guess I had him confused with one of those small speedsters.Higgins is listed at 219.

I think if the guaranteed money is right, it's possible we can get him. I don't see us sticking with Olave if he continues to have concussions. Hopefully Shaheed's recovery brings him back to where he was before injury, but we definitely should go after Higgins. He's gonna be the TOP paid free agent WR this off-season. He will command more than $22M AAV on the open market.
Not only is it going to help us cap space wise to draft rookie WR's, as opposed to signing one in FA, but I think the any of the above can give us just as much production as he has given CIN over the past 2 seasonsHe'll end up going to Cleveland.
Would rather build through the draft... with any of the following.
Tetairoa McMillan
Luther Burden
Emeka Egbuka
Isaiah Bond
Tre Harris
Elic Ayomanor
Jaylen Royals
Evan Stewart
Xavier Restrepo
Kyren Lacy
Jayden Higgins
Not sure how you can say he is always injured. He's been mostly healthy minus a few games this and last year and his 2nd year (2 games) and he still produced solid numbers.Higgins is amazing when he plays
But he doesn’t play much. So no.
Edit : I should clarify that to healthy. He’s always injured. But plays through it if he can.
The obvious answer is YES, but I'm not sure WR is the must I thought it was back in Week4. I've been impressed w/ Carr recently and his ability to spread the ball around w/ out having a #1 WR. I feel like..in theory...the running game is Carr's #1 WR if you catch my drift.
might need a legit WR1 now that Olave is done. Even if Olave isnt done, we still need a WR1The obvious answer is YES, but I'm not sure WR is the must I thought it was back in Week4. That's where I'm at, and yet I'm being cognizant that Kamara/Taysom will be a year older and so things are going to happen that will limit their availability. In those moments it would help to have a guy like Higgins, especially w/ Olave's status in the air.Although I tend to think Higgins is going to make too much money to make sense for this team, as with most things in football, it probably depends on the scheme we play. It certainly looks like the running game is the key to the Kubiak offense and really helps Carr because it limits the hero ball that leads to turnovers, lets him use play action which is his strength, and keeps him a low volume QB which seems to work well for him. So if we are going to keep Kubiak it likely makes more sense to build the OL, find a backup RB, and look for a physical receiver in the draft. The calculation may be different in another scheme. But it looks like what we really need is some more physical WRs that can block and go over the middle on slants to beat the blitz.
Which is what we can get in the draft, but we still need WR and I think it's still better to go after Higgins to fill that need. We need so much in the draft that if Higgins is available, I think it's better to go after him versus using a draft pick on an unknown WR. Have some guaranteed money on the table and I think it would be easy to bring him in. He could cost a lot or it might not, but at least here, he would probably be that top WR as we move on from Olave (given his concussions). That's where I'm at, and yet I'm being cognizant that Kamara/Taysom will be a year older and so things are going to happen that will limit their availability. The conundrum w/ this team and WR's is the same the 49ers had. The viewed Aiyuk as a #2 internally but wanted #1 WR compensation. Getting a Justin Jefferson is great when it happens, but the scheme doesn't gear itself towards needing an Elite #1 WR anyway. Logically because you're not passing the ball 40x's a game regularly. It's almost a luxury. WR's aren't getting 11-12 targts a game, every week.
OL, RB, TE are higher on my radar right now.
Higgins is 6’4” 220We have Tee Higgins types already in Olave and Shaheed, we need some guys 210lbs+ who can be physical, we have our speed guys already.
