Should the Saints be Sold? (1 Viewer)

After the incredibly vociferous response from the fan base on this forum, I wonder if they still want to supprt the Saints. Some want Dennis Allen and Matt loomis fired. Some think Ms Benson is unqualified to own a NFL team. Some on here are giving credibility to Duncan's posts, but who has been hated here since Bountygate. I would suggest that none of of the posters, NONE, possess the acumen to address the problems within the "culture" of the Saints.

Anyway, back to the title of this [post. If the fan base has lost confidence in Allen, Loomis. and Ms Benson to run the team. Would they want it sold. Let's digest that possibility. If the Saints are sold, would they remain in the Big Easy? Don't know. It's possible. I remember 2005.

I would hope my fellow fans would tamp down their temptuous childish anger and wait for the off season to unfold. It just seems that a 9-8 season is no reason to assume that the sky has fallen.
who freaking cares what the fan base wants?

I don't run my business based on what some internet morons think and certainly neither do the Saints.

Don’t know what your metrics are for new. I’ve been on this forum since 1998. However, I don’t have much tolerance for mass hysteria and herd mentality that resembles vigilante behavior wanting to hang perceived culprits that actually may be innocent.
It's definitely been a lynch mob around here. Embarrassingly so. If the Saints don't make the move they want they won't buy tickets, or they'll be really angry on the internet. Even more angry than now. I'm glad we don't run the team.

Mrs Benson represents this team and her vast business interests very well. She has zero to do with any perceived locker room drama. Any major change will come from Lauchia anyways, and that will be income driven.

Thing with the saints is we don’t know the meetings that Loomis is having with Allen. He may be absolutely roasting him in private, putting him on an improvement plan we don’t know. That portion of this we are in the dark about, and like it or not the saints look at stability in their coaches allowing them to develop. Maybe Dennis the menace will continue to grow. Maybe Gruden is being brought in as a mentor. Who knows

If people stopped buying tickets, then the conversation about relocation will start to come up. We don't want to test that theory.
The really big money comes from the TV contracts. The paying customer is sadly a very small part .

Front Office sure seems like they want to sell based on their handling of all this. They certainly don't have winning in mind

A sale almost assuredly means a relocation. So heck no.
