Silo on Apple TV (5 Viewers)

Juliet was in a firefighters outfit, so she's good
Bernard?AL is now positioned as the villain - but no way it's going to be a season of our guys v Hal 9000
I think this is why the scene with Camille - it seems like she is going to be set as the voice/defender of AI
so Lukas and Jules v Camille & AI (reddit says the AI voice is the congressman we met in the last scene)maybe there will be enough dramatic tension for engineering in just rebuilding what they blew upHope & Solo (HEY! I just realized that) will probably be coming to 18 - maybe saving the day somehow
or is there going to be another silo introduced? - maybe solo finds other silosI am fine with a slow boil showing how the Silos all came into beingit is VERY weird watching Silo and Devs at the same time - scary

Creator is USWNT fan?Agree on all points. Soon as he gave her that "relic" it kinda felt that way

is the pipe on 90? Cuz they ain't got no stairs below 92

I think they just knocked out 2 levels of stairs
But yes getting to pipe and rebuilding stairs are our big clock ticking plots

So the blind-date scene was set in the near-to-our-future, after one little dirty bomb in DC, and the revenge strike on Iran is what pushes the world into mass bio-chemical warfare? Or was it a normal war and it's totally safe outside after all, except for the safegaurd pipe gas? And the congressman saw it coming with enough time and wherewithal that he built 50 silos in his home state and put his voice into the AI? And now we're 350 years later ca. 2400? What does the PEZ dispenser have to do with it?

Amazing. Another week and not a wasted scene/second!
Everything was so well written, shot and acted.
No Fs given Bernard is something! The scenes with Walk and then Juliette were *chefs kiss*
Such a good arc with Lukas, still wish we saw the tunnel room interaction...but we will, even beyond the obv inference of what is happening with the Safeguard, there had to have been a lot more he learned...
The pace and then timing of Juliette appearing on the screen--awesome!!!
They absolutely nailed the Solo (Jimmy) story and Zahn was incredible in the role...
just perfect and the suit test+🫂=

great monologue by Jules to the leftover 'kids' and happy she defended Hope

Bernard will live imo, he's simply too good of a character to not bring a redemption arc too!
I am actually starting to feel bad for Sims, but my goodness that was hilarious--insta left swipe by the AI and told to leave the room...bahahahaha
Camille is the most obvious pivot after her actions this season. I think she might actually be a descendant of the reporter who was gifted the duck pez...speaking of;
That was a pretty epic button scene/flashback, so glad they went there...it was so jarring to see the rain starting the scene off! Sooooo much to speculate on and dive into for next season!
For those asking, the gas pipe/Safeguard is on the Judicial level--which is floor 14 in Silo 17
So cool that Jimmy's parents discovered this and attempted to fix it...
Also adds to the mystery that Jimmy once again stated that the people the went outside didn't die--not right away, so something else might be at play here?
10/10 finale imo!

The pez dispenser will be like the hat in Millers Crossing

At this point we don’t know if Iran actually deployed the dirty bomb - the reporters question puts some doubt on it

I think there’s some clue in how cagey the congressman was about his research into the reporter
If I’m stabbing in the dark, I’d say the silo constructions are well underway and he wants to use her/Post to sell the idea to the public

That could also be Fallout talking

When the ran started I was certain it was a Matthew McConaughey ad

For me Bernard has arced out - don’t want him hanging out just bc Tim Robbins is awesome
Him playing a big Lebowski/fat Thor role would be fun, but we obviously have big story shifts/expansions coming so he’d feel like a distraction
- honestly same with Zahn but there a few pivots Solo could make to justify keeping him and Silo 17 is probably still important

I totally agree with you.

Bernard has completed his task and 17 has nothing to contribute in driving the story forward because they are all just kids. The only way we'll see them again is if there is some sort of peaceful resolution to 18's current events and Jules finds a way to bring them over to 18. I'm guessing that won't occur until they are ready to wrap things up.

I might be off, but I think Robbins' role of Bernard is just too important yet...
IF he was able to survive, he will have a lot to answer for and might be forced to 'pay' for his actions, but nobody knows anything close to what he does (Silo 51, or the central command Silo just being a recent example)...I think it would be very cool to see him embrace further an anti-hero role--after he gets past this revelation. He could be a very powerful ally to Juliette and Silo 18 forming one unified group.

He was just a small cog of the machine that has been replaced several times before. Hell, Lukas knows more than Bernard ever did!

Perhaps the poison in the exit airlock comes from the same pipe?

Yeah, I can't dispute that! No idea what Lukas pivots to now, though? Meadows had the same burden of knowledge and it destroyed her. I think they could have Bernard take the same knowledge and flip it around--taking all these years of being lied to and motivated him to find the true answers...he is curious enough and now will have vengeance driving him, perhaps?

Yeah I can see that. I posit that the people in charge have to have the ability to poison people outside--as we are getting hints to from Jimmy/Solo...it was the 'dust' clouds that came in. What real purpose would poisoning everyone inside serve--if they could just head outside and meet the same demise?? The air is safe! I wanna go OUTSIDE!

Agree with DJ, both Lukas and Solo know way more than Bernard - let Bernard be crispy fried esp since we never heard anything special about IT’s suit, there’s no reason for him to survive

Lukas and Jules will be focused on overriding the kill switch
So that leaves it up to Solo if we’re going to introduce more silos (it’d be cool to see a silo doing much better that 18)
I could see next season being just overcoming AI while getting the backstory

S4 I’d love to see everyone coming out of various silos and having to figure out the next phase of humanity
Obviously most dystopian stories end where Wall-e ended - before the rebuilding- but let’s see the rebuilding
Much harder to tell story, but could be well worth it
