Not current but interesting to see what elevated roads were like
Helena went back to her reporter days there. Hope she's elected mayor.

Maybe that’s why it’s my least favorite of the 4 (I think) ones I’ve been to down hereIt was. (New build in Covington)
Not as large as a Winn Dixie footprint, but large enough. Stays busy.
Where? (As mentioned, I like to take note of all of them)
I was happy to see a little satsuma-sized patch still on my front lawn. Of the areas not in shadow, that's it.Sat morning and still have patches in front lawn. Roof facing north still has some snow left as well.
Today it will be close to full sun and high reaching the high 50s in the NOLA metro area. Overnight lows in the mid.40s.Noodling around on Maps it seems interstate is still not open

Tomorrow, slightly cloudier but still a bright day, with both the highs and lows about 10 degrees warmer.
Monday, still highs in the 60s with morning rain. That really, really should finish off the ice on the major roadways.
EDIT: I take it you didn't make it to Natchitoches?
Good to know. Thanks for the tip. Been looking for a new locale with less digging required.and fwiw - if anyone needs to dump a body, michoud by the old jazz land entrance is the place to go
Half of our backyard is still well covered as it doesn't really get full sun.Sat morning and still have patches in front lawn. Roof facing north still has some snow left as well.
Same, part of my backyard receives no sun this time of year. I think it's going to take the monday rain toHalf of our backyard is still well covered as it doesn't really get full sun.
I'll add it to my list.and fwiw - if anyone needs to dump a body, michoud by the old jazz land entrance is the place to go
At the top of my above-mentioned list are 3 unused family burial plots. Gma and Gpa bought 2 extras for my uncle and father. Uncle lives in NYC and aunt has said over her dead body is he getting buried in Pennsylvania. That's one extra. Daddy wanted his own for him and mom and bought his own 2 plots in the same cemetery. So that's 2. Mom wanted to be cremated, not buried, so she's on top of daddy's plot and hers is unused so that's 3.Good to know. Thanks for the tip. 1200 miles sure, but it's mostly downhill, right? At the top of my above-mentioned list are 3 unused family burial plots. Gma and Gpa bought 2 extras for my uncle and father. Now, the problem is, as you say, the digging. Also that they're 1,200 miles away from where I live which poses a logistical problem.
Yes, I have given thought to this before.
