Sneaux next week [Historic snowstorm in southeast Louisiana on January 21, 2025] (4 Viewers)

At the top of my above-mentioned list are 3 unused family burial plots. Gma and Gpa bought 2 extras for my uncle and father. Uncle lives in NYC and aunt has said over her dead body is he getting buried in Pennsylvania. That's one extra. Daddy wanted his own for him and mom and bought his own 2 plots in the same cemetery. So that's 2. Mom wanted to be cremated, not buried, so she's on top of daddy's plot and hers is unused so that's 3.

Now, the problem is, as you say, the digging. Also that they're 1,200 miles away from where I live which poses a logistical problem.

Yes, I have given thought to this before.
since we are on the topic. I learned the following from a McBallen video a few months ago. If you want to
dispose of a body, throw it into a hog pen. They aren't always loving and adorable animals. The only thing left
will be teeth,so remember to get rid of those.

I learned that long ago from watching Deadwood on HBO. Mr. Wu was the go to guy to dispose of bodies by feeding them to his pen of hogs.

Noodling around on Maps it seems interstate is still not open
The Louisiana Dept of Transportation has a pretty good interactive map of road closures, construction, accidents, etc. According to this (and Google Maps agrees), the interstates in SE Louisiana are all open, even out over water and marsh (e.g. the I-10 westbound between Kenner and LaPlace).

If you saw Snatch, you already know this.
