Just because 26 hillbilly fans want a team to fire one of the winningest head coaches of all time doesn’t mean it’s thread worthy. Tomlin isn’t going anywhere.

I agree they drafted him too high but he is good enough to be the backup QB on one of the best teams in the NFC but he isn't good enough to keep around more than 2 years on the Steelers...Well, he probably shouldn't of been drafted where he was. That's the only bad thing I see out of the handling of KP via Pittsburg.
Zero chance they fire him. The fact that he’s in such a good position with a boom or bust QB like Wilson speaks volumesI hear Steelers fans are pushing for Tomlin to be fired if things go bad and they fall short again.
I know its unlikely.. but if Tomlin were to be fired\resign. I dont see how he wouldnt be #1 on our list... defensive coach or not.
Not saying it was great, but they still scored 33 points. 21 in the first quarter after Hurts went down. That said Barkley did a lot of the lifting so Pickett didn't need to do too much.Pickett Stats line:
14/24 (58%) 143 yards 1 TD 1 INT 3 sacks
With a great O-line and tons of offensive weapons.
that's pedestrian at best.
Then lose to the Chiefs or RavensMike Tomlin just signed a 3 year contract extension in June 2024.
Steelers are 10-6 (L3) with a clinched playoff berth. They’ll likely play the wildcard round against the Texans who are struggling.
Boy, that would eat DA up if Arthur Smith ended up here.Just as long as he doesn't bring that 1930's offense with him.
I've said this about our fanbase earlier this year, losing brings out the stupidity in some fans. They come on here fresh off their Madden 25 season and think it translates to real life, it doesn't.I hear Steelers fans are pushing for Tomlin to be fired if things go bad and they fall short again.
I know its unlikely.. but if Tomlin were to be fired\resign. I dont see how he wouldnt be #1 on our list... defensive coach or not.
Bill Austin was the last Steelers coach to be fired in 1968. That’s unbelievable and makes it highly unlikely they fire Tomlin.Steelers don’t fire HC they have had 3 coaches since I was 5 I’m 60 now
Noll, Cowher and Tomlin all with SB wins
2 much more talented teams. I wouldn't call that a knock. Meanwhile, the Saints GM couldn't pull the trigger on a head coach that was drastically underperforming last year. Then lose to the Chiefs or Ravens
Reminds me of the Bears firing Lovie Smith after a 10-6 season. They've only had 2 winning seasons since. Five seasons with 6 or less wins. Smith had a few losing seasons, but he kept the Bears competitive with Grossman/Orton/Cutler at QB in an era where Adrian Peterson, Farve.. and eventually Both Rodgers and Farve were playing for division rivals. The definition of don't know what you got until it's gone. The Steelers have no business having a winning record this year.
