Not a bad player. Has had a few injury concerns in the pastI can get behind this signing.
Michel is a great fit with our offense but I am not sure we are a great fit for him.
He is a young, former first rounder, who should be looking for opportunities to be a feature back.
I know right now it is between the saints and dolphins. These teams are not the ideal situation for him.
Now after saying that, I hope we get him. It will be a great unit if we have Kamara, Ingram, Michel and Abram Smith.

He was most affective with 15-20 touches a game (5 catches 15 carries) and was getting 125yrds a game (75 rushing and 50 receiving).Yeah, I think we needed another RB to share carries with Kamara regardless of any suspension. Kamara is best when you limit his touches to 20 or so per game. We don't want to run him into the ground like Carolina did with McCaffery. We had no choice last year after they mistakenly though that Jones, Jr. could replace Murray, but they should really add a partner for Kamara this year.
I don’t consider this a big signing. Hey but that’s my opinion. This was my prediction as to who this "next big signing" would be.
Your comments are right on. Nick is always putting out articles that are insightful and informative. He also is very cautious of not publishing something that is not completely sourced which gives him credibility when he does break news. His site IMO is worth the minimal cost. That's not why people subscribe to Nick. They subscribe because he knows what he is talking about, knows football inside and out, and is a good writer. He's also a good guy that gives back to the community. The fact that he also sometimes breaks stories first is just extra. And, frankly, when he has actual breaking news, he basically always posts it on Twitter for free for everyone to see. It's just the little bits of information like, the team really likes X or Y player, that he tends to only put on the Members only pod or in articles on his website.
So, basically, he's the best reporter covering the Saints. That's what people pay for. It's no different than subscribing to NOLA.com. It's just that you get a better writer with more knowledge and more information.
Exactly.I'm all for adding another proven NFL starter in his prime. We could use one. Not just for AK's suspension but in general. When AK trots off the field for a breather he takes the entire running game with him. I think AK will always be best in a 1-2 punch situation. Thunder and Lightening. Boom and Zoom. Whatever.
Exactly.
When AK comes off the field, odds are that the entire world is aware we're about to call a passing play. We need to keep opposing defenses on their heels and by adding Michel, it would do just that. It would have the same impact as adding Olave next to Thomas in regards to our passing game.
Loomis is no idiot and I'm fairly certain he sees it to, so I wouldn't be shocked if we were to sign Michel. If you ask me who I want between the two and I can't have both, I'm taking Michel over Landry.
Except that Cook was drafted in the 2nd.good way to cover up the draft dodo that lost 3rd and 4th where a kid like Cook could have been drafted with 4 year cost control. We need a Rb and DT
