Spider-Man: No Way Home (Now all webbed up with SPOILERS) (2 Viewers)

I have nothing to back this up, but I feel like he’s going to be like Zemo. You may be his enemy, but he’s more focused on his “greater good” as opposed to just mindlessly slaughtering everyone.
Baron Zemo/Mordo, the Barons. Ha. Didnt see the parallels before.

Zemo believes the super powered beings are a danger to the world.
Mordo believes sorcerers bending/breaking the natural order are a danger to the world.

Both believe their actions are for the greater good.

Damn I didn’t even think about those parallels. Nice.

He appears in the trailer, so I assume he is one of the bad guys, possibly the main one, but possibly not.
The whole multiverse angle makes it impossible to know what his role will be in the plot.
Considering his motivation... what Strange did for Spidey and the ensuing chaos would athema to him, if he is somehow aware.

I know that we wouldn't have a movie if he did this but why didn't Strange just shut the spell down and start over with the changes Peter wants? So the movie's events are really his fault for knowing better and seemingly not caring because he thought he was good enough to do it anyway.

Maybe some of behaviour we saw when he was a surgeon. Only wanting the interesting cases, to show his superiority... but at the same time not taking on the longshots to avoid having to face failure. He took on a very complex, delicate spell to prove he could. Then when it went wrong, he cast the blame and responsibility elsewhere instead of accepting his failure and reattempting the spell he had just failed.
Hopefully that is part of his character arc in MM. I could see facing himself and having Mordo point out the concequences of his arrogance... perhaps nerf his powers a bit going forward by adding caution and more respect for the concequences of his actions.

So my daughter and I spent the afternoon re-watching both Amazing Spider-man movies with Garfield. I actually enjoyed them more than I figured I would after having not seen them in a while.

After getting to the end of part 2, we started talking about No Way Home. Since Electro gets sent back to right before Gwen dies, he could help to prevent her death. With the possibility of ASM3 as a Sony Universe "solo" movie, I wouldn't mind seeing Gwen survive and have Garfield finish out his trilogy.

Given how Marvel's multiverse works it would be a branch/variant timeline, though.

Like when Tobey's Peter Parker goes back to his tineline, its still one where Doc Ock and Osborne are dead. When they were cured/returned it created new branch timelines where they lived.

So we're approaching two weeks since the release. Is it safe to drop the spoiler tags?

I think it's in the window that we normally do that and frankly, if you have managed to avoid spoilers for these 2 weeks you're a sorcerer so powerful you could have completed that spell with no problem.
