There is none. Be as rude and insulting as possible when ever there's a chance. Misspell a word and you get a page and half of ridicule. I once typed "Sean Peyton" by mistake which resulted in multiple pages of insults and ridicule. For a simple mistake. The kind of behavior that would cause a fist fight if you treated a physically fit man on the street like that.

What's up with that? One poor guy made his first post ever and it was weak, but not to the point that it deserved the abuse that followed. And that's just one example I've seen over the last few weeks and it's getting worse.

Lighten up people. Rude is rude no matter where you are.
Blame gen z 😅

This is absolutely the best Saints forum anywhere and one of the best sports fan forums. It's why I've hung around here nearly twenty years.

Let's keep it that way
BTW, this may have been mentioned before, but I think it's worth mentioning again...

While I too have a dislike for the Bears, the pic in your avatar is giving the middle finger salute to Soldier field, which is named such as a memorial to U.S. soldiers who have died in combat. I get the picture, but some people may take it the wrong way and take offense to it (kinda like you've taken the good-natured ribbing of your OP).

Yeah I've heard that over the years and have explained that it's about the Bears not the soldiers. I considered taking it down but I think most realize what it's about.

I will preface this with the fact that this is the best moderated forum on the internet, or at least from what I can tell. That doesn't mean that it doesn't fall short sometimes. I've given up on figuring out what is good or bad to post, or Saints versus non-Saints news. I started a thread the other day about a Saints player that bailed a man out of jail in the name of social justice and that same man is now wanted for murder. I was completely lambasted and the thread was quickly moved to who knows where (I think deleted). I was told it was too political and this was a football forum. Meanwhile, there was a multi-page thread on the Aaron Rodgers vaccine controversy that was allowed to stay on here. It's confusing sometimes and the amount of people that attacked me for posting something (God forbid) about something negative that a Saints player contributed to, was astonishing to say the least.

But like I said, this is still the best on the internet, and I'm addicted to it because I love my team and this is the best place to get the latest news on the Saints.

When sports social media happened , social etiquette went out the window. It is what it is.

The anonymity that social media provides, allows individuals to exercise whatever opinion they normally would hold back on in real world scenarios.

In some ways it can be a cathartic outlet for them.

So more people can be jerks, grammar Nazis, or just plain annoying know it all's without major consequences.

I love this board. I don't post much. But I am here reading 5-10x per day for the last 20+ years, even on the old board. And you are totally correct. There a lot of regulars on this board that are much smarter than you. Just ask them. But it has definitely changed over the past few years. For instance. I'm unable to post in a thread on the EE board because my stances were not accepted by the majority there. Accused of lying, etc. A lot of the the regulars here are morally and intellectually superior to you.
