Steve Smith’s WR rankings for the draft (48 Viewers)

Dude banged a dude’s wife, said “I’m sorry”, and then eventually hung up on the guy🤣

I can’t look at Smitty the same from now on😬
Right? Was wild reading about that. Smith is one of my favorite receivers of all time, dawg fo sho.
Excuse me..? I haven’t the foggiest and need the gossip please and thank you. I lived in South America from 2016-2022, so there’s a gap in my US pop culture knowledge.
That story was crazy! lol

Man, my buddy and I had just saw Smitty at a tennis exhibition in December. He was with his wife and kids. He and his wife was a customer of mine about 15 years ago (I don’t like Smitty btw, he’s a grade A ***hat but was a really good player). I remember his kids being small back then. Then I saw this and just had to shake my head. I kinda thought he would get more backlash from this ordeal but I guess not.

I guess infidelity is still hip in some circles

It's not just a WR we need it's a certain type of WR we need. We don't really need a under 6' under 200lb WR, we have those. We need a big body contested pass catcher with good YA. Now that could come in a TE like Warren. But Tet fits just what we need. I'd be perfectly happy if Tet runs a bad 40 and we can trade down to like 18 and get him
Agreed in principle on what we need in a WR and a TE, really. Will we have an accurate thrower of the football for them if they're drafted? Always the question when the apparent starter is a middlin' QB like Carr is. And I like the ending scenario there, as it's now apparent we're addressing the o-line in the middle rounds and not FA.

I mean, it happens in all circles obviously, but I’ll be honest, despite how I view Smitty’s personality, I always thought that he would be a true family man through and through for some reason.
He may be. Some people practice non monogamy so it's entirely possible.

I'm 100% certain it's not my business so I'm not going to bother even reading the story.

Colston didn't have the best 40 time, but he had one of the best 20 yard splits. That's why the Saints took a chance on him and it paid off. Receivers run more routes under 20 yards than they do over 20 yards.

If a receiver has a good 20 yard time and a good shuttle time, then they have the speed and quickness needed to get open for most of the routes they will run.

The more precisely they run routes, the more success they will have. By the time a receiver reaches the NFL, it's easier to improve route running precision, than it is to try to get faster and quicker.
The Saints didn’t take what I call a chance on Colton. He was a late 7th round pick with a reputation of the dropsies. Many thought they drafted him to convert to TE however he wowed the coaching staff in mini and training camps so they left him at WR. He turned out to be possibly the best player the team ever had that didn’t get any post season awards and that is a shame.

This cracks me up......no measure of his quickness, just straight line speed.....would be about 5th on my list....I'd be much more interested in cone, shuttle and quickness times....
Not disagreeing. But it’s hard to name WRs drafted in the top 10-12 of the first round who couldn’t routinely take the top off of a defense.
