C'mon...the guy in the video is clearly the instigator. He literally hit someone in the face 2 seconds before getting punched. He got what he deserved.

What if you square up to the guy like a white knight and he pulls a weapon? Real life is not a movie. I'm sorry about your friend's dad, but it sounds like that was a completely different situation.

Hit? I saw a tap on the face! You're blind? He was fooling around like an idiot but no reasonable justified approach to what happened.

And if he had a weapon I'd think he'd have pulled it out by this point no? You're reaching.

OK, here's a video when nobody stepped up to help. This vid does not show how it started, the black girl came into the store and butted in line, the guy on the phone was telling his gf about her doing that and she started going off on him for no reason, then as you can see when the pizza manager tried to step in, she spit in his face. Then her drunk boyfriend came in and started punching the guy and would not stop until he was beaten senseless and those penisless wonders in the store just stood there and watched the poor guy get beaten almost to death...and nobody helped.

Psychology and sociology on influence states that if you don't pin point a person for help in a crowd, nothing gets done. These are two different stories from each other. This guy was of no harm playing around and idiots watching. All it took was to say hey cut it out. The second he'd become defensive is when you lay him out.

A very good friend of my dad's died in the street in a similar situation. I never met him but from what I gather he would not hurt a fly, but some scumbag waited for things to cool off after a few words were exchanged and sucker punched him on his blindside just like this. He was dead before he hit the ground. The guy he hit him came from a good family but is now serving time for manslaughter.

Since that situation, I cannot view something like this as ok or deserved. If, as it seems, he had decided he was going to step in, fine. Push him, square up to him, let him know you have a problem and you want to sort it out. Then fight him if you really must. The guy probably deserved a lesson, but punching anyone blindside to the temple is being a scumbag IMHO

Someone mentioned playground justice and your point is good.

At some point we grown too big for playground fights and one punch can kill.

Still, the guy deserved to be hit. Black eye/bloody lip and a quick fall on his *** suited him well. The problem is the difference in the knockout and death punch isn't much.

Why would you pull a weapon when everyone is running from you? You do that when you actually feel threatened. Also, I'm sorry, but slapping someone in the face is still hitting them...especially considering that he has already thrown numerous punches at people.

I'm sorry that the guy who knocked him out is not considered "manly" enough to some of you...but that isn't the point. The point isn't to look manly to people on the internet, or to get into a fight for ***** and giggles. The point is to stop some idiot from committing assault on other people as quickly and cleanly as possible.

If you want a fair fight you get in a boxing ring. If some idiot on the street is attacking people you put him down with as little danger to yourself as possible. It's really that simple.

When he slapped the guy in the red? Or when he hit the guy in the black? He put his hands on both of them at one point.

Even if those two antagonized the curly hair fellow to fight them, they clearly backed off and didn't want anything to do with that guy afterwards. He's going at them, dancing around like a fool.

Maybe if he didn't act like a fool he wouldn't have gotten sucker punched.

He was picking a fight with 2 guys. What if they decide to fight back and beat him senseless?

A sucker punch from someone is a coward IMO. If he's that much of a man why didn't he tell guy to tone it down or hit him or push him when he was standing right there next to him? Cause he's a punk. Someone should've cold cocked him after he sucker punched the guy. But as one mentioned we don't what took place from the video. If guy hit him and had no reason which is likely what took place he's a punk. That's not a fight to take from behind. The guy seemed like a **** playing with ppl like he was cool but no reason to take him out.

At least two people tried to get the bully to back down. One got hit in the face for his effort.

I have no idea as to what you are talking about with regards to the bully playing with people. He took a shot at a guy who had tried to calm him down and who had held up his hands nad flashed him a "peace sign." The punk was the bully who was having a great time intimidating people who made it clear they did not want to fight.

As far as your suggestion that the guy could have "pushed" the bully, what kind of tactic is that? It's a good way to get your butt kicked is what it is. If you are suggesting pushing someone you have no idea about sound self defense tactics.

If you are going to engage do it quick and decisevely, which is exactly what the kid did.

The bully was a lot stouter than the guy who ultimately stepped up to the plate. No reason to put yourself at risk to be "fair."

If you think that bully had any honor you're wrong.

Really? Rewatch it. There was NO assault being done. He tapped a guy in the face. And the guys should've fought. Not some coward who was trying to be mr bad ***! Those 2 were cowards as with the crowd you couldn't tell if they said to stop or not. All I saw was them not wanting to be part of it. The knockout king is a punk. Plain and simple. If I saw someone sucker punch someone because they were trying to stop something that wasn't anything, he'd be laid out along side his victim.

Sucker punching is female lady part kind of stuff. If you're not squaring up face to face, you might as well give up your man card. Even women go toe to toe.

Actually, sucker punching is a time-honored tried and true technique. There's no rule that says you have to let your enemies prepare themselves for your attacks. That's just idiotic.

this is what i take from this video, dude wants a fight and physically hits not one but two other people even though they wanted no part of an altercation.

Id hate to have you as a friend. You sure wouldnt have anyones back would you. Let the little guy that cant or wont fight get bullied. Just tell the bully no. Backing down and walking away from a bully makes them want to hurt you more because they see you arent going to do anything to stop them.
