Don't know any Taylor Swift music. Have no problem with Dave Mathews. More troubled with the show being in Jackson Square just prior to the game. Don't get it.

I was really hoping for a band that would possibly bring a local band on stage, but I have no clue how either Taylor Swift of Dave Matthews could incorporate one of New Orleans' big time names such as Trombone Shorty or Galactic. With that being said...I could not have been more disappointed when the NFL choose these two boring acts. I mean they are completely boring. Pittsburgh gets the Black Eye Peas and we get country pop and weed smoking jam band....come on. This blows.

DMB has a horn section, I wonder who they could get to play with them.

also, BEP is awful. I'd be afraid Fergie would pee her pants on stage, or that Will.i.am would destroy another Dylan song.

Hmmph, the NFL should have tried to get Lenny Kravitz. Just as much appeal with the ladies, and he rocks harder.

Lemon fresh eh? That's funny. Their fans are types to frolic thru the FQ with no shoes on that's for sure. But on a serious note, having them play in Jackson Square could be a logistical nightmare. Their following will travel to the ends of the Earth to see them play especially if they are gonna take a hiatus after this year. Don't get caught in that area or you will miss the game. Just a feeling I have after talking to a huge DMB fan.

That 'You Belong With Me Song' is money but I don't think Taylor Swift really matches the energy of the opening game for the NFL. I don't get the massive appeal of Dave Mathews Band, but even their songs aren't as bad as their dumb fans.
